Great location, huge electric bills

I lived at Broad street for 2 years in a 2 bedroom. The kitchen was definitely the best part of the apartment. Beware of the floors - expect to get a few splinters. The apartment isn't insulated and there's a huge draft from the windows. Also doesn't help block out the road noise at all. I learned to fall asleep to the sound of the GRTC buses. Expect your electric bills to be into the $200s in the summer. We had some water come through out skylight, but that was fixed within a couple days. While ...

I miss having a washer/dryer in my apartment, I don't miss that it took at least 3 times to through the dryer to get everything dry. Most likely from the fact that the cleaning tubes were never cleaned. While I liked the maintenance guy, he admitted he wasn't knowledgeable about the AC, washer/dryer, or dishwasher. There were huge millipeeds (4 inches long) that kept coming back. The AC completely went out in my last month there and it took the complex 3 days to "install" a window unit with cardboard and duct tape. It was a decent price while I was there and you can't beat the walking distance to campus.
