Rent at Amber Oaks!
January 17, 2019Been living here 10 months now. I love this place! Its 42 degrees outside and an awesome 71 in my apartment and not once did I need to turn on the heat this winter. Love living here
February 20, 2018We just moved into our apartment last month and we absolutely love living here. I've lived in several apartments in Northwest Austin and this has been the best experience so far. Amber Oaks is a large complex, but it doesn't feel like it. The units are well built and comfortable with many options for layouts. The application fees seemed expensive, but they made the entire process easy with online application and credit checks instead of having to bring in paystubs or paperwork. The front ...office staff are the friendliest people I've ever met when it comes to apartments, and honestly was one of the biggest factors in living here. We have a dog, and they always love having us bring her in for treats. When we were taking the tour, there were several people who stopped in with their dogs to say hello. The unit was spotless when we moved in and maintenance took care of a minor piece of loose trim around the counter same-day. All around, we love living here!Property Manager Responded

September 30, 2015When we originally moved into Camden Amber Oaks, we had only intended to stay for three months before moving somewhere closer to the city. We filled out the exit paperwork and everything; and then we hit moving day... and just couldn't leave. My roommate and I absolutely love Amber Oaks. It's in a really nice area; the apartment is cozy but has just enough space; and I personally love the bathroom. We ended up extending our lease for another fifteen months because we have no plans to move anytime ...soon. Excellent Property
September 8, 2015I moved to Camden Amber Oaks in Austin, Texas in early July, 2015. I love this community so far. The buildings are all very well kept, ground are kept clean, pool and fitness center are well maintained. Each apartment has granite counters, nice carpeting and upgraded lighting fixtures. Significantly Less Cockroaches
July 21, 2015Compared to my college dorm, in which we housed several crawly friends (who also neglected rent!), Amber Oaks is clean, beautiful, and super friendly. There are no creepy crawlies which, to me, is one of the most important things, coming from someone with severe bug-phobia. Along with the aesthetics, the personel here are wonderful and helpful whenever assistance is needed. Nice apartments but a bit pricey
August 14, 2015Camden Amber Oaks is, on the whole, a very nice apartment community. First, the apartments themselves - the units are spacious, with new carpet & handsome stainless steel appliances. In-unit washer/dryers are a huge bonus, & small details, such as crown molding matched to the door frames, add to the overall aesthetic appeal. Noise from neighbors could be an issue on the first or second floor of a building, or if you don't have a corner unit, but compared to other apartments in which I've ...lived, it's incredibly quiet here. Highway noise from nearby MoPac is totally nonexistent. Regarding the amenities, Camden again delivers an above-average experience. Valet trash pickup 5 days a week is a very nice convenience; the gym is well-equipped with plenty of machines, flat-panel televisions & complimentary wifi. The pools are also lovely, albeit typically packed with rowdy children; you may want to avoid them on the weekends. Parking is an issue; after 6pm and on weekends it is at a premium, & I've had to circle the entire complex or park far from my building if I've arrived home too late. The front office recently stopped accepting & holding packages for their residents, which is by far my biggest gripe. Being forced to drive to the nearest post office to collect packages is a tremendous inconvenience and is always a blood pressure-raising headache. Finally, the price - units here are comparably priced when compared to other apartments in the area, of which there are many. You may pay a bit more per month here. Certain added expenses, such as cable with HBO, the aforementioned valet trash service, and a monthly pet fee, add to the cost & cannot be waived. Overall, this is a nice place to live; the units are comfortable & the communal areas are well-kept, but the price, parking, & package issues keep me from giving Camden 5 stars.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Affordable luxury
August 12, 2015This is a pretty nice apartment with granite countertops, stainless appliances, and fake hardwood floors. I've received many compliments on my place and entertain friends most weekends. I wish the management company was a little better though. Clubhouses are closed unless the office is open. That means evenings and most of the day Sunday you cannot use the clubhouse?!? And I can't rent the clubhouse for events? Otherwise this has been a good place to live.
