    I’ve lived here for two years now and I absolutely love it and I feel completely safe in this community… If you’re new to the Tampa area this is a great place to meet new people because everyone is so friendly! Service request are completed within 24 hours because the maintenance staff are the bomb and the leasing office is always there to take your phone call and help you anyway that they can… Not every place is perfect and that’s completely normal because you’ll find that anywhere but I have to ...

  • Horrible Apartments

    Horrible customer service and responsiveness. Buildings have horrible build quality and noise insulation. Absurd fees and they will nickle and dime you to death. I highly recommend finding a different place to live for the prices you would be paying here. I don't normally write reviews, but I am willing to make an exception for Camden.

    Camden Bay is an excellent living choice in the Tampa and Westchase area. The community is older, however they have successfully maintained their grounds and buildings and have renovated all of their apartment homes. Don't read and believe all the reviews. The good outweigh the bad, and those who are complaining have nothing else better to do or should be living somewhere else. It's apartment living people, can't be perfect! However everyone in the office and maintenance team is truly ...

  • 4 year resident complaint

    May 8, 2019
    Management is rude, they have installed new speed bumps that are damaging tenants cars and multiple people have complained. The technology package is a sham since it was updated, walls are very thin, no operating playground for children so they are all in the streets, huge rats run through the trash cans, dog poop everywhere and rent is raised by atleast 100 each time you renew. Beware of Camden. Seriously

These 3” speed bumps, which are industry standard, have been installed because we had serious challenges with vehicles speeding throughout our community, especially the long stretches. Speeders create unsafe situations for pedestrians and merging vehicles. Our contractor will work to make adjustments on the speed bumps. Our inspiration is to improve safety for all our residents and visitors. These speed bumps, so far, have had a positive impact in slowing down vehicles. We ask that you join us in supporting this change. We are working closely with Spectrum regarding our technology package in order to provide the best package to current and future residents. The location in relation to my work led me to check the complex out, but the amenities and apartment itself ended up keeping me. Elsie was the leasing consultant/manager in training who helped me during the process, ensuring that I got just the right place for my particular needs. She went above and beyond on actual move in day, helping to make sure I was settling in nicely and was excellent with communicating about ...
    delays with using my shower (I pushed my move-in day up 2 days, but the tub fixtures were still being installed as my unit had just been refurbished). You can definitely see that management cares about the property; maintenance requests are handled efficiently and with the friendliest staff I've ever met! Overall, after moving in, I felt that I became more than a resident at Camden Bay, between Elsie and everyone else I've met so far, I feel like part of a giant family here!
