Worst experience ever
October 21, 2021Horrible management. Had to file insurance claims bc the smoke smell from neighbors ruined my belongings. Ridiculous fees. When you move out they make you pay for paint and carpet. Check the class action suit they lost. Check police reports. Dont trust these folks or the fake reviews.Property Manager Responded

AMAZING place to live!
September 30, 2020Camden Overlook is a phenomenal place to live! I feel like everyone from the maintenance team all the way to the office staff are incredibly receptive and always put their residents first. In addition to a top notch staff, Camden Overlook also boasts top notch amenities the likes of which you wont find anywhere else in Raleigh. The pools are excellent, but I would say I spend the majority of my time in the fitness center. The gym at Overlook has the most up to date and widest assortment of ...equipment that I have ever seen in an apartment complex, and it has really helped me develop constructive and positive habits during my time here. One aspect of the community that has really stood out to me is the vast number of trees and greenery you seen when you go for walks or look out your windows. You might technically be within the city limits, but you wouldn't know it unless you stepped outside of the property. It's like a little oasis. I feel very happy and incredibly fortunate to call this place home.Property Manager Responded

I couldn't agree more about our fitness center. I am so glad we have it back open and I am trying to get back into that rythm of working out. The mature landscaping is so beautiful, and I can't wait for the the leaves to be changing over the next couple of weeks! Run fast run far! Would never live here again!!
January 2, 2019Truly an unacceptable experience. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The staff clearly does not care about the welfare of the tenants. during the year that I lived there, I had my car rummaged through/ broken into 4 times and when I brought these concerns to management, they told me to "park your car under a light". Who says that? How is that an appropriate response? They charge outrageous fees on the front end for pets then complement them with large fees on the backend for ..."damage caused by pets" when you leave. When you ask for details about the damaged caused, they are unable to provide any. For the amount of money, you pay they provide an unacceptable experience, conduct business in a deceptive way, and force unacceptable, unwarranted fees on their tenants. TERRIBLE!
August 27, 2016I would not suggest this apartment complex to anyone. To start with, the staff was very nice when I moved in and EXTREMELY RUDE and almost stuck up acting (and they certainly have no reason to be) when I moved out. I think they were just mad they were losing money. It left a very sour taste in my mouth and it just seems like a terrible way to end something. They never showed any concern for resident safety when issues were brought up. There was also really bad black mold that is around all ...the windows, no matter how much you clean this with clorox. They do not change the air filters enough. The noise level is really bad too; not much insulation. Great Apartment!
August 30, 2015Moved in about a month ago and absolutely love it here! This place has a great atmosphere and tons of amenities. The pool is beautiful and we love renting out the movie theater for movie nights with friends. There is a gym and even classes free for residents. There are also resident socials and food trucks that come regularly- great way to meet your neighbors. The apartment itself has a nice layout and updated appliances. Camden Overlook - Best Place To Live In Raleigh BY FAR
August 22, 2015I don't have a single negative thing to say about this place. I've lived in a lot of apartments, but Camden Overlook puts all of them to shame. The complex offers more amenities than anyone could ask for in an apt. community. The location couldn't be better. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond. My neighbors are great. The complex itself is gorgeous. And most of all, my apartment is beautiful. I don't see myself moving until I am ready to buy a home.
