      My husband and I have been at Camden Reunion Park for almost a year. We absolutely love our apartment! The location is great - very convenient to Apex and Holly Springs. The complex has two very nice pools, a nice gym and a playground. The maintenance team is outstanding. Carl is the supervisor now and he always goes above and beyond to help us out whenever we need. The office staff is also very friendly and responsive. You can tell that the team now really cares for the residents and do what ...

      Today we all received an email about one car broken into and another stolen. Unfortunately throughout the day more and more people discovered their cars ransacked. Apparently according to the cops this is almost too routine and alleged to have consulted management about this and getting cameras put in, but management deems cameras to be "invasion of privacy"

        Hello, As you mentioned, we did inform our residents about an incident that happened onsite and shared that we were notified that surrounding neighborhoods were also affected during the same timeframe. We assure you that the safety and security of our residents is extremely important to us. Light checks will be performed so we can evaluate those areas that could potentially use additional lighting. We have also requested Apex Police Department complete random service patrols of our community in hopes to help deter future incidents. Although we can never prevent or predict when crime will occur, by working together as a community and with the help of Apex Police Department, we can try to discourage anyone with bad intentions.       This community gives conflicting information. The answer for anything that goes on in the community is "call the cops". The apartments look pretty on the inside, but they are cheap. The only positive is, they were able to let me move in quickly (I should have researched more), and the location. Weed smoking is a common issue (fun explaining that smell to a 7 year old). The main pool was closed most of the summer do to inspection issues. Lease terms at renewal are not practical. You shouldn't ...
      expect someone to renew for 18 months. I have had some maintenance issues that still are not taken care of such as a leaking sprinkler head in my storage room, and laundry door magnets. I have had to have the bathroom sprayed multiple times for ants. I have to pay for pest control that isn't even working. You can feel a major draft coming in the bedroom windows, and front door. This makes it difficult to control the temperature. You can hear everything going on outside. Overall really dissatisfied with these apartments. I am looking forward to my lease being up. I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone who wants to live stress free.

    • Great place to live! Great Staff!

      My husband and I lived here from 2016-2017. We absolutely loved it! The staff was great (Hannah, David, and Kristen). Whenever we needed something or had questions, they were very helpful and responsive. The complex was well kept and we had friendly neighbors.

    • Great place for starting out

      I have been living here for almost 2 years, it has been great! I have read the past reviews and don't really agree with them. Since moving in May 2016, there have only been a handful of crimes in the community. I do live at the front of the community, so it may be "scarier" towards the back, I am not sure. I have never had any issues with the staff in the office. I have had 2 roommates break the lease and move out, the staff were always extremely helpful with those processes. I haven't had to put ...
      in many service requests (knock on wood). When I first moved in, my refrigerator wasn't running right and they had it fixed in a couple of days - took days because they had to order a part. The maintenance staff are very educated, extremely nice and I have ZERO complaints about them. I always ask for them to come after 3:30 because I have a dog and don't want them to come inside when it's just her alone, they always accommodate this with no complaints. They keep the grounds very clean. The only thing I have had complaints about are the other residents - but this will happen anywhere you live. Also, when I renewed my lease the first time, it did go up $100 which is only $50 per roommate, so we agreed to sign. Overall, this is a GREAT community to move into. Super close to I-440, 540 - roads are super crowded in the mornings and the afternoons until around 6:30pm.

      They paint a pretty picture, but save yourself the time and definitely the money by renting elsewhere. My rent continued to go up with their hidden, "necessary", fees" and by the end of my lease I was paying $40 more per month than I originally signed up for. The pest control you're paying for monthly is pretty much non-existent, the crime activity in the neighborhood is alarming and service requests take days to fill. I will never rent from a Camden community ever again. The staff are all kind ...

      This looked like a nice place to live. Nice location, amenities, friendly staff etc. We had only a few days to find a place and move and they were able to accommodate us quickly. PROS - The people at the leasing office were always pleasant, not always effective. - New appliances, newly remodeled kitchen and bath. - Efficient hot water and HVAC. I love long hot showers and keeping the apartment a comfortable temp. My electric bills were always low. - Service requests they were completed ...
      promptly, and I was kept in the loop if parts were needed, etc. - The car wash was a nice feature when it was working. CONS - Two weeks after moving in the cable and internet which are involuntarily added to the rent, went out. It took 2 weeks and a lot of frustration to get restored. They also refused to offer a credit on my monthly bill and made me pay in full for the month. - This place is a little scary at night.. There was an armed robbery and attempted child abduction while I lived here. - Valet waste. what a joke. They left garbage all over the steps and side walks. We had SO many ants. Eventually our apartment got infested too. - Billing. They would post charges after I paid the rent (due on the 1st), then charge a late fee when they weren't paid. Sometimes the amount of rent due changed after the 1st. - Commute to Raleigh - RT1 is BAD in the morning. - Rent is expensive here. I paid $1103. Moved to Raleigh now, nicer place and same rent. - The pools opened really late this year and had to close again because they didn't add enough chemicals. I haven't been to the pool since last summer but they weren't always very clean looking. There were a lot of kids and pool toys left laying around too.. Overall my experience here wasn't great and I wouldn't recommend this complex.

    • Great Location...not so great service

      With Apex recently being voted #1 place to live in the US, and this apartment's proximity to Hwy 1 and 40, it has been very convenient to call Camden home. The rooms are spacious and the apartments are newly renovated. The Staff does work very hard to have community events and promotes neighbor interaction. On the contrary, maintenance has poor follow-through and only half fixes issues. I do get an email about once or twice a quarter that they will be in my apartment at some point during the week ...
      to do "preventative maintenance" which is very inconvenient (and excessive) when working from home. The front office is very helpful until you are a resident but now I get no follow-through when I make requests of the staff and every time I renew my lease it goes up about $100. In conclusion, this is a great place to stay for about a year while you're having your house built.
