Eastlodge apts have been my home for 2 yrs now. Prior owners/management were great, but the new owners are slow to fix issues. These apts are older. The bedrooms are a good size, esp the master, the bathroom has double sinks and is a great size and the closets are a good size, but there is no outside storage and only 3 bdrm apts have washer and dryer hookups. Although they offer onsite laundry facilities, it makes doing laundry very costly and there are not any large capacity washer or dryers. ...
There is one locked front door you have to enter before getting to the shared hallway and your front door. This is a pain when packing things in, and since there is no airconditioning in the common hall area, it gets hot and smelly in the summer and needs to have the old wornout carpet replaced. These apts are in a more low-income area, but I haven't personally had any problems with anyone. It's nice to have a pool and there is ample parking for company or if you have 2 vehicles per apt. Being right off of S. Green River Road, you are very close to any shopping amenities etc. Overall there are just some pros and cons like usual so you just have to weigh what is most important to you and whether Eastlodge would make a great home for you.
