Great management. Cheapest place to live in the area. Apartments are older but plenty comfortable. Within walking distance of the University and grocery stores. We live in the two bedroom apartment and it's plenty spacious and comfortable. Perfect for us as students.

An apartment with a neighborhood feel situated in a setting of old-growth trees.
Though the apartments are older, the friendly property management team are making improvements including replacing doors, painting, and installing new mailboxes and outside light fixtures. The complex has a great swimming pool which is well maintained. There's an on-site laundry room as well. It is also a pet friendly apartment complex.

This is one of my favorite places I have ever lived, and I wish I could stay. Perks: It is less than a block to walk to Publix, Rainbow Natural Foods, and plenty of restaurants. It is about a 10 minute walk to the YMCA. Also walking distance to several parks and Emory's Clairmont campus. The neighborhood is a mix of grad-school students, people who work in the area, and families, so there is not a lot of noise or partying, but people are pretty friendly. I also have felt very safe in the area. ...
The pool is perfectly positioned and gets a lot of sun--I was surprised it wasn't shaded, since the rest of the area is wooded. There is a huge field perfect for exercising your dog or playing frisbee.
Drawbacks: Lack of overhead lighting in living area and bedrooms; no power outlet in bathroom. Galley kitchen with no dishwasher. Keep in mind other units may be different, this was just my experience (and I still loved my layout overall).
Emory Woods is a great place to live, and I wouldn't be leaving if I didn't need to relocate for work.

These apartments were built a long time ago but the insides are surprisingly nice. You're within walking distance to all the necessities and within bussing distance of all the attractions. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great deal.

Emory Woods-a blast from the past. Luxury living on a very small scale: 360 square feet studios! Heating is generated by brisk runs around the kitchen. Staying cool is easy: open & close the frig rapidly. Two closets provide plenty of room for a winter coat and a tank top and a pair of shorts. Perfect for entertaining--just take turns standing outside. Bring your own chair for enhanced comfort! If you smoke, just blow the smoke out a window to save space. Visit old style charm. Move in ...
