  • You’re better off in a cardboard box

    Pool will look like a swamp during spring Never gets pest controlled If you live on the first floor, good luck. You’re gonna get water dripping in the bathroom from the second floor. Always has some form of plumbing problem. Central A/C has been a hit an miss, and has been leaking non stop for 3days. NO form of security whatsoever, a few neighbors have reported car break ins in the last few months.

  • Not good at all

    ROACH infested I’m a very very clean person I clean everyday and there’s still roaches !! Pest control came well that’s a joke. The manager doesn’t know anything you go and ask her something and she always says that the company hasn’t told her anything that she can’t do anything. And don’t get me started with the maintenance guy, he literally walks around all day supposedly picking up trash in the morning and the whole day I don’t see him, I put out a work order about my stove not working on ...
    Friday and he never came I was all weekend without stove. The hot water never works they always turn it off and on, as well as the air, have to have a heater on hand or if not you freeze. In the summer the cold air doesn’t even throw that much air. Oh and the people that live here have pets that’s not a problem but they just let them take a dump anywhere and can’t even pick up after them.

  • Run, Don't Walk

    Do not let the photos of the charming, remodeled interior fool you, what you see is not likely to be what you get. The property is not clean. Most of the time it is littered with trash, sewage or nasty water is bubbling up from grates in the ground and putrid water/solids spill out from spouts near the stairwells. All of the food that you put in the garbage disposals pretty much get chopped into pieces and disposed of outside on the concrete where you walk. The stairs are in disrepair with ...
    chunks of concrete missing from many of them. The units are infested with pests and pest control was a joke. I say was because there hasn't been any for 2-3 months now. The outlets get hot. So hot that they melt cell phone charges or plugs that are plugged in. You can feel the heat that they put off, just sitting next to them. The plumbing is abysmal, always backing up. The air conditioning works sometimes but you could go days with no air and no relief. There are NO dishwashers, NO washer and dryer connections and the onsite laundry doesn't hardly work and it's stupid expensive. It is also a popular place to do drugs and leave the paraphernalia scattered on the ground. There are no rules here. Residents can do whatever they want, whenever they want so if you enjoy loud music over your television at all hours of the night, drug deals in broad daylight and the smell of pot, this might be the place for you. If you don't mind dog crap all over the property, under the stairs, in the parking lot, this is the place for you. If you enjoy chaos and slums, this is the place. If you're thinking to yourself, "Man, I would LOVE to pay rent somewhere that nothing gets fixed, smells like raw sewage and weed and where I don't feel safe, even during the day", French Colony is the place for you. If you want anything more than walls, floor and a roof, please run, don't walk, far, far, away from here!
