Large, but outdated

Location is like all of Sacramento, nice bordering trouble. Proximity to the park & 7-11 creates undesirable foot traffic, but the fire department & library are great. Units themselves are huge. But with size, they show their age. And owners have done little more than slap fresh paint on & replace carpet every 10 years or so & that's a generous assessment. Plenty of possible structural issues & windows, while massive & great for allowing lots of natural light, are not chaulked well & mildew/mold ...

is a losing battle. Overall the size & central location to DT/midtown/airport/sac state make this a livable-ish place for a max of 5-6 years (until income increases, school is over, or you can buy).

I've stayed at Lake Hills for 3 months and have had a great experience. The rent is fair and the rooms are so spacious. It's old but it has a very home like feel and I look forward to go home daily.
