I’ve lived here for 18 months
March 4, 2025This apartment isn’t the best, it was my first apartment since moving on my own so I wasn’t expecting much. The maintenance overall is kind of shabby, my bathroom has mold, the wall is falling apart because it’s painted water damage. Sometimes the heater works, but only on a certain setting. Even then you only get the option to turn it on or off. There are cockroaches that come from somewhere on the kitchen walls from another apartment when it’s dark or cold out. I often come into the kitchen ...for a drink or snack in the night and see them scurry across the counter and underneath its edge. Though I put traps around and it’s always clean they still like to wander to the farther corners of my apartment, just to die. The neighborhood is not bad, but it has gotten a little more active than it was when I moved in. There are two new shot spotters within a few blocks. The fire alarm and police sirens are always coming to visit at random times throughout the days as well. My floor is a main contributor to this and it tends to get very loud on holidays or weekends. There has been new property management since I started my lease and there has been some improvements such as the elevators and stairs being so dirty. The elevators on the south side of the building are usually operable, if not there is another on the north side and there are a few staircases. There are no entryway cameras as people have destroyed or stolen them, packages constantly go missing and get stolen. So I would not recommend sending your packages to this address, unless you will be there when it arrives. The maintenance man is very attentive, but I believe that there is a maintenance fee each time you put in a work order now. Aside from all that’s listed above as long as you keep your space clean, set out some traps and maybe cover wall openings you should be fine. I would not live here if you would like a peaceful, cleanly, and quiet building however.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

November 28, 2023Overall still satisfied with building, location, amenities etc. My first maintenance request (kitchen sink) was completed quickly and efficiently! However, recently making requests take a ridiculous amount of time to be completed (mail key, bathroom ceiling, etc.) No reciprocated communication with staff ever. Anytime I wish to speak to someone I'm forced to show up at the leasing office unannounced.Property Manager Responded

August 28, 2023Property management does not care about the residents. You sign the lease and pay your rent. Management won't talk to you again regardless of the importance of your situation.Property Manager Responded

STAY AWAY
March 30, 2021I can’t wait to move out of this place. Everything below is true. Stairwells constantly have pet pee, crap, and puke all the time. The entry glass door has been shattered 3 times and the package room was broken into several times over 6 months ago. It hasn’t been fixed since and there isn’t a package room for this building. People constantly smoke weed on every floor and the radiators will click and wake you up at night. There’s sirens and gunshots constantly and people sell drugs in the parking ...lot.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Worst Living Experience of my Life
December 2, 2020I can't stress enough how much you should NOT live here. It only took a week for me to realize how much I screwed up by signing a lease here. The apartment complex itself is disgusting. The first floor constantly smells of cigarette smoke and pee. The elevators rarely work and if they do, there is a good chance they will be dirty or filled with pee (human or dog?). The place gets dirty almost as soon as it is clean. There have been multiple times when the lobby has blood on the floor or vomit in ...the entry ways. People steal things out of the laundry room all the time. When the homeless aren't living in the vacant rooms or utility closets, they can be found in the entry ways and tend to leave their belongings there once they leave for the day. They also threaten to harm tenants when begging for money. BUT DONT BOTHER NOTIFYING MANAGEMENT. It took three days and multiple calls from many residents for them to come do anything about the homeless people who were living in the utility closet next to my door and empty apartment down the hall. When management came, they came without law enforcement and left before the people exited the complex because they were scared. Besides handling on site problems poorly, management also doesn't know how to handle money, send an email, or make a phone call. When I gave them my money order, they ended up depositing my $1000 order for the incorrect amount, never notified me of their screw up, and assessed me late fees. When I reached out to inquire about the problem, none of the staff could tell me what was wrong and kept referring me to one staff member. I was told multiple times this person would call me but rarely were those calls received. Most of the emails I sent about the issue were not answered until I visited the office in person (during a pandemic and when it was supposed to be closed to the public) and when a response was made they said they would have the issue fixed by the afternoon. It wasn't. 0/10. DO NOT RECOMMENDRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
