Old appartments and no ventilation

No Ventilation, No sunlight. Trash pickup only twice a week and no dumpster available. Management is very bad and dont listen to issues.

Management sucks

I have informed the office so many times about my neighbors trash problem and the rats and they haven’t done anything to get this fixed. Neighbors keep taking trash out on days that’s not trash days and then the rats be so loud at night that don’t let me sleep. On top of the trash bags being torn apart by rats over night and having trash that I have to clean afterwards. CANNOT WAIT FOR MY LEASE TO BE OVER.

don't stay here..

We came after seeing the review..but seriously..in this prove location this type of apartment is existing still? When we entered first day apartment was not cleaned..they just put new carpet without cleaning the base.I can see lots of hairs and insects were on the every corner..then bathroom floor was nasty..we had to clean because they told cleaner will come on Monday..okay we cleaned ..then racks are hanging ..we had to call then with a list..shouldn’t they check before handover ? Then that ...

time was little cold ..after some time the AC was working in master bedroom so we called..They told they can’t do anything because it’s like this only we have open the bedroom door all time so that from dining the air will enter ..see they changed new vent in dining n drawing for changing air direction ..is this a solution?in Texas everybody knows how is the weather..but ac is not working..the ac after 6-7 hours u can see the temperature u set ..shouldn’t they renovate the apartment?aren’t they taking rent?so I have to open bedroom door while sleeping..this is the solution they gave..so many insects bugs ..but there is no pest control..though they are taking money for that.. I don’t why they do like this..I had to stay because I have a physical condition..otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed..

Don't waste your time

Lived here for 2 years, worst leasing office I've ever dealt with. They will nickel and dime you for everything any chance they get. The people who work in the office are so incredibly rude and refused to answer my calls or emails after trying to get them to fix an issue I had with my unit. They charged me for owning a pet even though I never had an animal in my apartment and charged me for new carpet because of the "pet". Not that safe of a location, multiple cars were broken into while living ...

Not worth the hassle

The apartment was clean, the pool is nice, the maintenance team is terrific but the office staff is very unfriendly. They practically roll their eyes when you walk in the door and do not do a good job helping out. We lived here for 6 months while house hunting and although our stay was uneventful, moving out has been an ongoing nightmare. We followed every policy and guideline and have been met with so many problems. A final rent bill was not given to us before paying our last rent. We were ...

given an estimated amount to pay or face late fees and then a final bill was issued after we left. We have 2 dogs that the apartment staff was aware of and we paid 2 deposits but we are being hassled to pay $600 for cleaning and carpet replacement (2 services that should be standard before a new tenant moves in) due to the "pet odor." Working with the office staff is extremely frustrating. I reached out to their Resident Relations office a week ago but nobody has gotten back to me. Overall, the hassle of leaving (which other reviewers have recently mentioned) is not worth it for this run of the mill, average apartment especially if you are a dog owner or plan to stay short term.

If you want to find cockroaches all over, it’s the perfect place. It’s very dirty and old. Management team aren’t nice and very aggressive with charging fines and penalties over stupid stuff. Please don’t choose these apartments.

Moved couple of months back and only hearing of Thefts, knocking the door late nights, Mail Box Robery, When asked about security, the Manager says.. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE.. AND GIVES EXAMPLE OF PEOPLE GET SHOT ALSO. Not worth staying. MOVE OUT OF IRVING. BEST OPTION. JEFFERSON & NEAR BY APARTMENTS ARE NOT SAFE PLACE ANYMORE.

We moved to MacArthur Ridge in 2013 and we haven't had a true complaint yet. Everyone is polite but usually stays to themselves. Good, competitive rates, nice layouts in an older building- but management is making improvements without turning the complex into a demolition area. They have even had events where they give residents breakfast to-go in the morning. It is a quiet neighborhood, lots of walkers in the afternoon and even through the evening. We had a baby 8 months ago and didn't ever ...

The complex is quiet except for the occasional idiot which is probably no different than any complex. There are more of those idiots now than 3 years ago when we moved here. The office staff is rude. I have never had a pleasant interaction with them. They act like you're bothering them when you have a question or pick up a package. The maintenance is also a problem. They don't fix so much as put bandaids on problems. You have to raise a huge stink to get anything accomplished. Rent is high given ...

what they offer. They would like to think they are a luxury complex and they try to charge you like one but the appliances are old, everything is outdated and I can't walk anywhere in my unit without the floor squeaking. The biggest positive I can offer is the parking situation. I'm never more then 5-6 spaces from my stairs. This is one of the least expensive complexes in valley ranch so you kind of get what you pay for but for what I pay I would expect a lot more.
