Pepper Ridge Apartments

already given my notice for december 31st. I wish I could get my money back to go someplace else before then. I dont know as a renter what laws I have in my favor. This place is horrible. While moving in we noticed several horrible truths. Dead bug everywhere in corners that you wouldn't notice in a quick walk through before renting. Today scrubbing the kitchen we are finding piles of I believe to be mouse droppings. The apartment they didn't clean at all well it didn't seem like it was cleaned up before we moved in. I'm really shocked and cant talk to the health department till next week due to the holiday. I'm really worried my little babies are going to get sick. Until we can move out we are only staying in the big bedroom. The kitchen we just cant be in or let our babies. We feel trapped until the end of december in such a horrible place. I wish we would have noticed all this before I maxed out all 3 credit cards to come here. Thank you again Amy for your service but this place is horrible and unsanitary and if my babies get sick before we can move out I would have no choice but to take legal action as well as let every media forum know what has gone on. People dont rent here it's not ok

the response was it could be condensation....... advising they will send someone out once they are done with other work orders as if there is absolutely no sense of urgency to see if they have someone residing in a apartment that is possibly effected by black mold which is considered to be a serious health issue. Which has drove me to submit this review because this isn't the first time a work order was placed and just kind of thrown on the back burner. So without continuing to rant and simply put if you wish to live here I would just strongly encourage to pay close attention to every single detail prior to moving in again because if you are going to need anything from management you might as well cancel Christmas however if you never have to step foot in the leasing office other than to sign your paper work you'll be fine. At least its month to month.
