Stage Apartments is a newly renovated building that was formerly the home of the legendary Cafe DiNapoli Italian Restaurant. In 2008 it was completely renovated from top to bottom. At Stage Apartments, you will find a comfortable and convenient style of living. All of our apartments are New York Style studios with high ceilings, stainless-steel appliances, hardwood in the kitchen area and all white bathrooms. Each tenant is able to control their own heating and cooling, and there is complimentary wireless internet. We have washing machines in the lower level and ample storage units to hide boxes, luggage or extra belongings. At Stage Apartments, we want you to feel at home while you are exploring the city, working or playing. With 32 uniquely designed units, we are sure you will find a unit that is perfect for you. January 6, 2025Poor management. Ridiculous fees. Homeless & drug dealer problem outside. Slow elevator & coin operated washer/dryer units that run poorly. The list goes on.Review from Apartments.com
Seriously Unsafe
March 1, 2022As far as convenience goes, this place is walking distance of many places but living here will make you feel unsafe. Security measures are woefully lacking. Nonresidents get in all the time (it’s really easy to get into) and then they get in to the whole building. They will smoke, drink, pee, leave garbage everywhere and STEAL so many packages. The rent is high considering the only amenity is free Wi-Fi that they tell you isn’t even that great. Management is nice and tries to be helpful but they ...can only do some much about the non residents coming in. The owners need to add fobs to all entrances and doors. I carry mace and a knife with me just to check mail or do laundry. Laundry is coin operated and the machines aren’t that great. They also don’t have any drawers in bathroom or kitchen.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Affordable downtown living
September 18, 2015Stage is the perfect building for those wanting to live downtown without breaking the bank. Though one of the most affordable (non-rent controlled) options in the downtown MPLS area, the units are well-maintained and relatively trendy, with NYC loft-style high ceilings and stainless steel appliances. and are also pet friendly (cats and dogs under 25 lbs). Vehicle owners may be inconvenienced by the lack of affordable parking options, but bike lanes and transit links abound nearby (only 3 blocks ...to the light rail!). Stage may lack "luxury apartment" amenities (pools, fitness rooms, communal areas, etc.), but does well at providing the basics, and speedy maintenance. The area immediately surrounding the building can at times feel a bit sketchy, but never have I felt unsafe. Overall recommended.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
