A Nightmare
May 6, 2025This apartment was a nightmare. In my first week, strong marijuana odors started coming through the heater vents. That issue lasted until the neighbors eventually moved out months later. The walls and floors are so thin that I could hear every slammed door and heavy step from upstairs. Even worse, my upstairs neighbors regularly ran through the apartment with a large golden retriever, causing my walls and floors to shake from the vibration. Then winter came—and with it, rodents (possibly rats, ...squirrels, or even raccoons) got into the walls. I was regularly woken up at odd hours—3:00 a.m., 5:00 a.m.—by scratching and chewing noises inside the walls and floorboards. While management did respond, they consistently downplayed the seriousness of the problems and offered temporary fixes rather than real solutions.
