No Working Pool
May 21, 2025The pool is closed again, in 100 degree weather in May. It is now closed most of the time, if not every day. Gate is often not working properly. Entry/exit is a crumbled mess. Used to be nice. Not sure what happened.Property Manager Responded

September 20, 2024Luckily for me, I could see the apartment before making the decision. At move-in, the apartment is NICE and CLEAN!! No sloppy work, no old equipment, no dirt on the floor. Avoid
September 4, 2024I've been here for 1 week. The moment I entered my apartment, there was tons of water in the hallway, laundry room, and bedroom carpet. Water damage was clearly visible on the walls, floors, and ceiling. Apparently this was due to an issue with the upstairs neighbors washing machine. Maintenance was able to come the day of and dry the floors, remove the wet carpet, and place a dehumidifier in the laundry room/walls. The carpet folks entirely replace the ruined carpet within a few days, so full ...kudos to them. Other than that, I have had zero communication as to when the damage will be repaired. The wood is so warped at the baseboards the bedroom door does not shut. The shower drain was not working day 1. I put in a maintenance request immediately. It has been over a week, and again no communication. If a simple clogged drain takes over a week, I am not looking forward to how long it is going to take to fix the water damage. I should not have to harass the front desk to get any traction on maintenance requests, which is the only way I've gotten any response for anything. They advertise a "luxury living experience" and provide anything but. I do not understand how these issues were not seen before I moved in. From speaking with neighbors my unit was vacant for quite some time. I can give them the benefit of the doubt that the leak may have occurred the day I moved in or soon before, but a clogged drain should have been spotted during a simple inspection of the unit before move in. The only conclusions I can come to are pure negligence, malice, or incompetence. I also had my Amazon package stolen. Spend your money else where.Property Manager Responded

May 31, 2024Going downhill daily. Gate is always broken. No security what so ever. Large tree branches down and never cleaned up. People hanging laundry on the balcony that gets blown down and never picked up. People grilling on their 3rd floor balcony, major fired hazard and nobody does anything.Property Manager Responded

May 29, 2024I've lived at Talavera Apartments for about 3 years now. Love the community feeling. Maintenance is very fast and very friendly. They are not very good about answering their phone or returning calls, but there is always someone in the office to talk to or discuss any issues with.
