Lived here nearly 5 years. In the first month, there were two notices of criminal activity, which I appreciated that they informed us, but over time, they didn't communicate enough about activity (and this was before the change in management). However, I am thankful I have never felt unsafe or witnessed any criminal activity. Even being a single woman, I have felt safe in the parking garage. There is always parking (I don't mind parking on the 5th floor if I get home late - I have lived places
...that had literally no parking.) It is conveniently located walking distance to a Kroger, Walgreens, McDonalds/ChickFilA, and a liquor store. The worst things? Yes it is loud. Most of the noise is average (music, talking in the corridors past my door, doors slamming) and during evenings, but these units have SUPER thin walls and ceilings, so you can hear footsteps, loud pets, and can almost hear full conversations if it's quiet enough. Entering/existing the complex from Briar Forest is awful in the mornings and especially from 3PM-6PM (there is a school up the road and making the U-turn is a pain. It can be difficult for delivery drivers to locate the complex. I don't think it's super dirty, but yes I've seen dog poop and trash places. They use Fetch to deliver packages because their leasing office could not handle it. They have electrical door locks, so if the battery goes out, you're locked out. Your key fob may also need to be fixed. I've had issues for the last 2 years and got locked out twice. My rent increased just over $200 over the span of 4-5 years, but the last time I renewed, I asked for options to switch units, and they did not offer me any specials or deals considering I had lived here for so long. On to the next!
