    The management team is impossible to communicate with, rude, and does not care about current residents. The apartment is overpriced and disguised as a “luxury” building. The carpets are stained with dog pee and the elevators reek of pee and weed. Save yourself a couple hundred dollars a month and go to someplace down the street.

    The location is very nice in Downtown Minneapolis, with a close distance to bus stops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Also the beautiful Mississippi river is close by. Staff is friendly. Not cheap but likely better value than a downtown apartment in many other American cities like Washington D.C. from what little research I have done.

    I have lived in this building for 4 years. Ever since the new management has taken over I have had nothing but issues with hidden fees and lack of communication. This will be the last lease I renew at this building.

    My boyfriend moved here after living in Uptown and couldn't love this building more! All of the staff and residents are very warm and friendly. The amenities and common areas are well maintained and clean at all times. The building also feels very safe and has 24/7 front desk employees that are very helpful anytime you need it. Very happy with our choice to move here!

    Some people don’t have anything better to do than to hate on people and write nasty reviews that only reflect themselves! I’m here to say I love it. Yes it could be updated a little, but nothing in this world makes up for customer service and attentiveness. From leasing to maintenance, I feel like not only can I trust them but I’ve built good relationships with every staff memeber here and for that I’m grateful.     I recently relocated back to the Twin Cities and I could not be happier with my decision to move into the Cortland Mill. From the very first time I toured with Hiba, to the prompt response from Dorian and the service team when I had a service request, my experience here has been fantastic! 10/10 would recommend.
