Great place for an active outdoorsy lifestyle in the city
February 20, 2026We absolutely love our apartment at the Penhurst. The spacious open concept, covered balcony with grill, direct access to Theodore Wirth trails, responsive & kind staff, and large 5th floor gym with sauna/yoga room/pickle ball court that rivals most gyms makes the price well worth it. Some challenges are that parking spots are tight, and south-facing apartments get the most traffic sound (but also the most light for plants). The access to the expansive paved trail network makes biking downtown, ...to the grocery store, or around the lakes safe and enjoyable.Property Manager Responded

The common areas are spotless, the landscaping is beautiful, and any maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally. What really sets this building apart is the sense of community. The neighbors are friendly and respectful, and management goes above and beyond to create a welcoming environment. I love the Penhurst
February 18, 2026Great place to live, would reccomend. Great location & great community. Easy access to major highways, Theo With Park, SLP, grocery stores, etc. The amenities are great & I regularly use them. They are ALWAYS clean. Indoor pickle ball court is awesome. I'm always greeted by a nice smile & wave from De-Lajah in the lobby. Additionally, John is an amazing person & equally as amazing at his job (maintenance). Beautiful and spacious
February 17, 2026It’s a great place to live if you love nature/ the outdoors. The staff are always helpful and welcoming, and the amenities are great. My favorites are the sauna, gym, and the coffee machine. The only complaint is that maintenance enters without much notice. They ask for permission through the request and each time I put call for permission. I’ve never received a call but I always come back to the request complete. February 13, 2026Have lived in one of the townhouse units for almost 2 years now, me and my roommates absolutely love it. Having a garage is super nice, and there is so much space within the unit. We have had nothing but good interactions with the staff, and renewing our lease was super easy. The gym and pickleball court are super nice to have so handy as well. February 11, 2026I've been at the Penhurst for 7 months now and it's easily my favorite place I've lived. I love having Theodore Wirth in my backyard and the accessibility to those walking trails. I love the Bryn-Mawr neighborhood, it's so charming. This building is super safe and always kept really clean, which is something that's important to me. I also LOVE the sauna. I work downtown and can easily get to work in 8 minutes without even getting on 394. February 14, 2025I’ve been at the Penhurst for almost a year and have really enjoyed living at the Penhurst! The management team has been amazing and really appreciate all that they do. The location is great and love living right next to Theo Wirth Park. The amenities are great as well, the gym is very spacious and love the indoor pickle ball court. I will be renewing my lease.
