just moved out. The entire time I lived there until I treat the roaches myselt, the apartment was infested. They would come and treat for roaches but it never took care of the problem. They were so bad I didn't want to be at home. In addition they will not do anything about very loud upstairs neighbors. It was a constant banging sound from upstairs that I reported at least 7-8 times. And lastly when you move out the will charge you ridiculous amounts for cleaning. They claim I damaged the carpet. ...
I know I didn't and the carpet was old and worn when I moved in. Do not live here if you can live anywhere else.

The Retreat has been my home for going on two years. My significant other and I have loved staying here and only planned on being here for a year. We just renewed for another year. Complex is clean, quiet, and Alyx & Kim go above and beyond to enforce community rules and make residents feel safe and happy. Any issue I have had has been addressed in a timely manner. Best Apartments In the Conroe Area!

I recently had an problem involving a enforcement of towing, the circumstances are very complex and are irrelevant to this review. Living at this complex has been very pleasant minus one occurrence. Not only did management step up, but also the Westwood Residential also came in and assisted property management to resolve my issue in Hours. Not Days, Not Weeks. HOURS. I have been a resident for more than a year at the time of this review and I'm planning on staying for atleast another year as long ...
as Westwood/TaylorLandTwo continue managing the property. I cant give enough high regards to this complex. Kim and Alyx are Awesome, They addressed my issues with a smile and concern! Also while I'm talking about them the Maintenance Personnel are not only courteous but very, very prompt. Same day Fixes for most common issues, If they have to order something, they tell you. I've lived here for just over a year now and I love calling this place home! There's nothing not to love! My apt is perfect - it has the stainless steel appliances and W/D included!!! That was 'a-must' for me. The staff is always so friendly and helpful everytime I go in the office. They drop what their doing to assist me and to make sure everything in my home is running smoothly. You can't go wrong if you choose the retreat!

This place is amazing! I am so in love with my new kitchen. The openness between the kitchen and living room is great; I can be cooking and not missing out on the conversations happening in the living room! Hanging out at the pool and grilling after work has been so relaxing and fun. I can see why they call it 'The Retreat'! The girls in the office are great, so sweet and always helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to call home!

Will not win

Seems like you desire positive reviews. After 40 years of leasing, this is one of the worst for the money. It was filthy at move in, the commode, all light switches, door handles, cabinet and drawer handles, balcony, and the carpet. ( Have had the carpet cleaned twice in one month.) Have a neighbor making more noise than animals in an apt., but complaints are apparently falling on deaf ears. DON'T MOVE HERE!!!
