Westwood Villa Apartments
August 24, 2015Westwood Village Apartments is one of the best complexes I have ever lived in, and I have lived in many places over the years. I"ve seen it all! I'll start with the almost endless pros of living here. The management is very polished and professional. I have never lived anywhere with such a prompt management team. I am just a text away from getting ahold of my landlord. He lives on site so he takes great pride in his job. I have never waited more then an hour to hear back about a concern. The ...landscaping is beautiful. I feel so secluded despite living next to such a busy street. I never hear the train or cars. The foliage is breathtaking and I love just sitting outside and taking it in. It has a tropical feel. I have never heard loud parties or crazy disturbances. I don't live like a mouse either, so the walls are very nicely soundproof. Everybody here is very courteous and friendly to each other. That's hard to find, for sure! This is one of the most affordable communities to live in without it being trashy. I feel like I'm in a luxury complex with how wonderful it is. There is a pool, laundry facility, phenomenal scenery, spacious apartments at a steal, and great care from the landlord. Unfortunately I could not give this 5 stars. I really wanted to, but I do need to be honest. My refrigerator is awesome and does its job well, but it's very outdated. There are ice cube trays and it's color is straight out the the 60's. Same goes for my stove. It works spectacularly but is extremely old. I don't like feeling like my appliances are going to break from age. But, I do know if they did that management would replace it within 24 hours. :) I also really dislike not having a washer and dryer inside the apartment. I can't complain about the facility that is provided though - it's always clean and I've never really had to wait for somebody to be done. It's open 24 hours too. But..in a perfect world, I want my own! I hate walking all the way to the other side of the complex to do my own laundry. It also is coin operated so that's $5 a week down the drain. That's about it though for complaints. They are all pretty cosmetic, so that falls on me I guess. Come check it out, you won't regret it. My boyfriend and I signed the lease the same day we came to view it!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
