There is/was mold in my unit. I visited with neighbors and they experienced the same mold issues. My apartment smelled horrendous/moldy/musty towards the end, from the mold. I also paid a $300 pet deposit from which they deducted the cost they should have paid to replace the carpet due to the mold, rather than passing the bill on to me, and they refuse to return the majority of deposit. I had to put my dog down shortly after making the pet deposit, and the dog never stepped foot in the apartment. ...
They altered the lease agreement to manipulate the pet deposit to serve as admin fees so they could keep it. Didn't expect to be treated like that and ripped off after being a good tenant for nearly 6 years. Shiesty. Over-priced for the no more than what they are. You can find better elsewhere. Glad to be out.

  Thank you again for your feedback. As we have discussed in detail, all of the deposits and fees were fully outlined in your original lease agreement as well as all 5 signed renewal leases after that. I have provided photos of your soiled carpet as well as offered to meet with you to see it. You never notified the office of any mold issue until you moved your washing machine out and did not cap the connections causing water damage in September 2023. It is not possible to manipulate or change the lease agreement after you have signed it. Please refer to my emails again and thank you for the feedback.

i have lived here for 8 years the Management has changed since i have been here .we have a Manager now that is a Very hard worker .She really comes from behind the desk and pitches in when needed on the property and changes clothes she paints ,cleans etc etc While also managing the 369 unit property . We love dogs here our manager and staff are friendly helpful. Then management give hugs to us every once and a while group hugs some times we all need a hug .I like it here .Now we are ...

Great schools and area

Great management, always helpful and if any problems occur they are taken care of within a timely manner. For the most part neighbors are nice, parking is a problem. School district is great and easy access to major highways, food, and shopping. Love the indoor pool.

Good place to live

I have lived here for a little over 3 years and it is a good place to live, the staff in the office are awesome people, it is close to my jobs and to where my son, his wife and my 2 grandsons. The only thing is I would like a 2 bedroom and lower rent and lower elec. bills because the places are older and they did not insulate them very well. I would also like to be able to have a real grill and here they are not allowed. It would be great if they had like a sister apartment complex that were a ...
little newer and a little cheaper, I'm even willing to move 15 to 20 miles out if need be just as long as I stayed on the Kansas side.

Within 5 minutes of everything!

Whispering Hills so far has been one of the best moves I have made! It is literally within 5 minutes of a plethora of shopping, dining, and entertainment. The staff is friendly and courteous and so far all maintenance requests have been completed in a timely manner. The area is inviting and peaceful. Come give it a try, you won't regret it!

Whispering Hills Apartments

Whispering is a great apartment complex. My particular apartment is a 2 bedroom and 1 bath. The carpet is not stained but is slightly worn. The kitchen is slightly outdated but still sustainable. The walls are very thin to where I can hear anything that goes on around my apartment. The rooms are nicely sized and has more than enough room for space. The bathroom is great just needs some work with some of the plumming.

At the Whispering Hills I have lived here for about a year. I have nice neighbors and live on the upper floor. Overall my apartment is a little small, but on the inside its pretty nice. It has everything I need. A bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and livingroom. At the apartment they have a pool and tennis court which is nice. There are no car garages so I park it outside underneath a small roof for cars. Overall this is not a bad apartment complex.
