Route 93 North will take you into the city of Boston, but this commute gets congested during commuter hours. It is often easier to take the T into the city to avoid traffic. Route 3 will get you from Weymouth onto Route 93 North. You can also take the more scenic route 3A. If you work in the city, chances are high that you will avoid driving on the road and take a commuter train instead.

The Boston Globe is a major newspaper serving Weymouth residents. Some popular radio stations include WROR 105.7 FM, playing classic hits, WBOS 92.9 FM out of Dorchester playing classic rock, and WBQT, 96.9 FM out of Boston playing urban contemporary. There are many other radio stations to check out in the area offering a wide range of listening options. WGBH, Channel 2 is a local educational television station. WBZ Channel 4 is the local CBS, WCVB Channel 5 is the ABC station, while Channel 8 is WBTS-LD, the NBC station.

Spend some time learning about area history at the Adams' Old House, or head into Boston for the day for a duck tour. You can also hop on a ferry and head to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket for the day or weekend. Weymouth and the surrounding area are full of good restaurants, sporting events, concerts, and excitement.

Some travel to Maine to spend time on the coast, heading all the way up to Arcadia National Park to check out the amazing views. If you prefer camping on a lake, New Hampshire and Vermont offer all types of opportunities. Some travel a few hours to New York City to take in a Broadway Show and enjoy the sites.
