No noise insulation between floors!

There is absolutely no noise insulation between apt 2 and apt 5! I lived in apt 2 for a year, and I heard literally everything the tenant in apt 5 was doing. Every footstep, dropped item, conversation, nighttime activity I could hear crystal clear. If you're considering renting apt 2 and you are reading this, only do it if you are okay with the noise!!! I wore double earplugs to bed every night and sometimes that wasn't enough. I rarely got a proper night of sleep, and I will never rent ground ...
