Very old house with thin walls and really loud noise from the N-train on Carl Street

The apartments are painted with a very cheap paint which causes a subtle smell that stays on all clothes you put in the closet.
The doors are so thin and flaky, you can hear what TV-show your neighbours are watching so loud as if they were doing that in the same room with you.
The heating unit is making loud noises every morning at 6am and there's no way to turn it off or control it.

help, he immediately lost hist temper and started accusing me of making things up to break the lease.
Highly recommend to avoid 301 Carl Apartments at all costs.
