September 19, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comThen this apartment complex might be the one for you. There's not a whole lot to complain about and a whole lot to love. The location is excellent. Easy access to the highway and across the highway there are so many shops and restaurants in Park Place. The amenities are top-notch. They have a lovely patio with a big screen TV overlooking the pool. There's also top-notch, commercial grills. Great gym with everything you need to get a solid workout. The design of the building is also very ...sleek and modern. Rarely did I hear my neighbors and I never felt like I had to be excessively quiet to avoid annoying them. Maintenance is very proactive and good at keeping the building clean. They do allow cats and dogs, so keep that in mind, but I've never had any problems with anyone's pets. On call Maintenance
September 16, 2020 - Review from Apartments.comJust moved in and accidentally dropped my keys down the garbage shoot along with my garbage, like an idiot!! However, I called our on call maintenance and Matt showed up within the half hour and that poor guy dug through the ENTIRE garbage for me to find my key at the bottom of the compact garbage bin, in another bag!!! Matt and his partner did not give up looking and when he knocked on my door with my key, I wanted to hug him!!!! December 23, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comI have lived here 6 months and really enjoy the excellent management (Jim, Ashley, Ike, and Julia), the upscale facility, great neighbors, and Central location. The staff were very supportive when I moved here and work to keep the place clean and up to date. They also strive to make it a community and hold monthly events so you can meet your neighbors. They had a 5 year anniversary party that was catered, had enjoyable live music and was well attended. April 14, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comThe location is absolutely perfect. 5 min to downtown, yet still able to quickly get out of the city if you are wanting a weekend away. Small, but nice looking apartments. All of the office staff is nice but one of them, Ashley is absolutely incredible, I have never seen a office person vacuuming hallways before, but it shows that they really care about how the place is presented on a day to day basis vs just waiting until the next cleaning crew arrives. Pretty Good but ..
January 15, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comI live here for a while and I'm pretty happy with the location and amenities. It is very close to West End and easy commute to downtown. The community room is very nice and you can brew yourself a nice coffee. I gave 4 stars because there are few points where they could improve. 1. I'll start with my personal pet-peeve- the elevators. They never take down the ugly blue protective padding. I understand the purpose of it during moving in-out, but it is always there, regardless if anyone is moving ...furniture. I believe that if you put 'luxury' in your name then you should live up to it, and this one is simply not caring in my book and could be easily corrected. 2. Cleaningness - the lobby is always clean but the hallways and elevator areas can be pretty dirty. I can see same trash laying around for couple days before someone vacumes it. 3. The gym- is really nice and a great perk the only downside is equipment is not repaired often e.g. treadmill not working for nearly a month.Read MoreProperty Manager Responded

January 14, 2016 - Review from Apartments.comI would not rent here again. After looking at several apartments I found Arcata to have a great location and amenities but have some serious issues. For instance, I got an email about a month ago saying that there was a homeless person seen walking around our building several times. Now that in itself is not a huge concern, but what if he was dangerous and wasn't just staying warm (stealing, damaging the building, looking for unlocked cars, etc.) So how does he get into a building that costs a ...lot of money to live in? Easy, the door by the pool is unlocked and ready for anyone to walk into the building from the outside with no key. They say it is a "fire code". For this much money, you can't even be guaranteed your safety. Find a new building to look at. I promise you will be happier and safer.Read More
