My time here at Camden Holly Springs has been great! The maintenance team is super responsive and so nice. The office staff has also been so attentive. Lydia is awesome! They are super quick to respond to emails and answer your questions. The location is convenient, close to grocery stores and restaurants. Thank you so much for making my stay here awesome!

I must say, that I've moved here in August and this has been the best decision that I've made. I am 5 mins away from my job, and this apartment complex is so quiet. My family seems to think that I am depressed because I'm always in the house. But I come from Chaos and this complex is so calming. I assured them that I'm not depressed i'm just enjoying the peace and quiet that this complex seems to give me. issue but its still the best decision that i've made. I have not tested out the gym or the pool as of yet, but I will eventually get there. The maintenance staff is so friendly and great at their response time. Its AMAZING. The leasing agents have been nothing but SUPER nice. From Alex who originally sold me on the apartment to everyone who I've come in contact with. What I really love is when I walk in the office and they know my name. It puts a smile on my face. Due to user error, I know can access the mailroom gate, I learned from the staff that I had to shut off my wifi and just use bluetooth. I haven't had an issue as of yet. I just wanted to express my feelings for this apartment complex. And bonus points, I have not seen any roaches. (That was my biggest fear) but I keep my house very clean and bleached and sanitized also.

Dangerous and rude customer service

I am so far disappointed with how the leasing office handles situations and worse with the service provided. I called the day of me wanting to view a townhome. The woman who answered Mayra, told me it's fine if I come before my scheduled appointment and she stated I can view the apartment for 30 minutes. I viewed it, it was okay, pricey for how it looked but looked nice and clean. As I was down stairs, still viewing the place a man walks in and I see her say we have an appointment and I had to ...
leave, I told her I had thirty minutes but still I was told to leave, super rude and intrusive I was not done, and that was not okay. Regardless, I leased, found it weird you don't need bank statements to prove you make the amount of rent. It's been two weeks and my neighbours do not pick up after their disgusting dogs, constant banging of subs heard from 1-3AM, neighbours arguing, and careless management. I was told numerous time I could not have another sticker because it is only me on the lease, even though my catalyst has been stolen, my trunk was popped open and my speakers were stolen, tire popped, and my car was scratched and dented (work vehicle). I have complained and per their words, "none of their concern". Although a friend lives here and they have a sticker and own the same townhome? After line reps are worse, "I don't think it's that serious, we don't bend rules it's set in stone, not necessarily our fault for damage", nothing is being done. I am so pissed off and disgusted by their behavior. They sure do sell a dream to you and I want them to take issues serious and start towing as they said they would if we parked in front of our garage because we are not allowed.

Extremely poor service and living experience

We've been without a working dishwasher for 3 weeks. The management team refuses to replace it with a working appliance because they claim it would be "going in circles" for them.
We've had to sit on hold with the call center for nearly an entire day to get a non-working AC unit repaired during the summer in Houston, only to be told we should sleep with our windows open.
Don't live here unless you are prepared to live with broken down systems, or you are prepared to advocate for yourself and ...
beg management endlessly to fix things that are basic quality of life expectation for a paying renter of a large company like Camden.

The grounds and apartments are very well maintained and we couldn't be happier. These apartments are truly pet friendly from the grounds to the staff. Mold is Normal according to Management

I lived at Camden HS for about 3 years. It was a relatively good experience, minus a few bad ones.
Good: Pretty landscape. Apt style is nice and has been updated over the years. People in the office are all nice and accommodating overall, even though there were exceptions - see below.
Bad: First of all, there was a murder. Nothing like this should happen with gates, cameras, and patrols. After this tragic incident, they increased security; but, took a very long time to do so. Break-ins ...
continued and there were even cars stolen. Sadly, with the increased security protocol there came increased regulation of the pool guest rules. I love being a hostess and having friends over, but with the 2 guests per apartment rule being strictly enforced, I could never have a group of friends/family over for a grill-out or pool day. I understand the complex not wanting strangers out numbering the tenants on a regular basis, but not allowing the tenants to have more than 2, when pool area is completely empty, is not ok.
The 1st 2 years were relatively nice and I enjoyed my time, but the 3rd year was awful.
I had increasing/extreme allergies over the months leading up to the move out. I believed the symptoms were mold related because I started noticing mold on my books, on shoes, in kitchen cabinets, and even on clothes. I kept a very clean home, so I was very confused. I did a thorough clean of my apartment after noticing, but my allergies continued and the mold came back. I sent in a request for mold in the apartment to be checked. They came out and claimed there was no mold. I followed up with an email to insist that mold was present in the apartment. The office, did nothing. Months passed by with continuing symptoms. Finally, we decided to move out. After moving our stuff out of the apartment, we were suspicious of a metal cover in my closet. Sure enough, mold COVERED the pipes behind the cover. I sent in another maintenance request, which resulted in being told to talk to mgmt. Once I got mgmt to check out the mold, I was dismissed and told that the mold is "normal" and would not cause any airborne issues.
I am disappointed with mgmt at Camden HS for not doing anything in regards to the mold and essentially not caring about a tenant's health/safety. I do not recommend moving here due to my experiences. And just know that if you live on the first floor, "mold is normal" according to mgmt. That is a quote from the head manager w/ head of maintenance to witness.

Great Experience with Shannon nice units, helpful office staff, good location with easy freeway access. The community was awesome and I loved the lake and how relaxing it felt just to walk by. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to move. I am excited about it and waiting to have my fiancé take a look before we make a decision as we are expecting a baby soon.
