Renters Reviews and Ratings
review
March 10, 2019The apartment hallway always smelled and leasing office never did a thing about it. Sometimes people walked down the hallway and were fighting and yelling at all hours of the night and went to management and they told me if it was concern to call the police when it's their apartment building they should have taken care of it. I felt like when you went to leasing office they were not always nice and willing to listen. The trash area was always a mess and smelled really bad and I always had to ...take my trash to the garage to throw it out. When the swimming pool was open there was so many bugs and the kids used the bathroom in the swimming pool it was not worth swimming in. I would give cedar wood Apartments a bad rating and review. For people are going to rent an apartment I would go somewhere else to rent. It's not worth what you pay. When ever I would go to do my laundry there was always someone else's clothes in the washer or dryer. So I had to wait for hours and come back. At times the washer and dryer was out of order so I couldn't wash my clothes and had to wait for days because all floors were out of service. The activity schedule while I was living there did not always happen due to low staffing that was usually the case or not enough people who lived there that wanted to join in. The security door was always held open on weekdays and weekends after hours by other people coming and going. They would put the rug in the door. Me and other people in the building would find this a lot.. I was paying for a security door and do not feel like I got this while living at your apartment complex. When you live alone you want to feel safe. That's a big major deal. I would not recommend Cedar Wood Apartments to anyone looking. These are also older apartments and the fitness center is really outdated and the smell throughout the building could be better cleaned. It just felt so dirty. It did not feel clean and the elevator did not always work. Sometimes people would get stuck in it and have to push the door open of the elevator and call to get out because they were stuck and or wait for the maintenance person from cedar wood apartments to come help them.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
