I have been to other places that were good and in a great area. Upon coming to Charter Oak, the staff is wonderful. Stephanie worked above and beyond to talk to me about what's required and made sure that I understood. I love honesty. I can't wait to move here. The convience to the grocery stores is a huge plus

A great place to live

I love this complex, I have had really bad experiences with apartments in DFW and this is the first positive one. The place is affordable but I don't feel like I'm sacrificing anything for that. Normally "affordable" means it's infested, the paint is peeling, cracks in the walls and the property isn't being maintained.
Definitely not here. I've been here a year and a half with minimal issue. I had one issue with my AC and they were incredibly quick to get it fixed. I didn't know it was ...
considered an emergency either, but they told me so I would be informed going forward. They clearly care about comfort instead of trying to sweep things under the rug.
Leah and Stefani are both so nice and easy to talk to. I call them up to bug them with little questions and they have the best personalities, very friendly! I don't feel rushed or like I'm a nuisance, they genuinely care about the people living here.
I love the smart home upgrade, it's convenient and gives me peace of mind when I'm sleeping. I think the location is good too, though that depends on what you're looking for. Across the street from a Kroger, the neighborhood is generally quiet, and you are close to the highway.

I love this community! The manager and the assistant manager are somewhat new to the community but aren’t new to the industry. They are helpful/insightful. They just helped me fill out my paperwork for the new smart home system in the office even though it was after hours. Stephanie even showed me how to use my new smart thermostat, my alarm system, and my front door key-less lock. I didn’t want these things at first, but I love that I can walk to Kroger and I don’t have to take my keys with me. ...
I can unlock my door from my smart phone, so I don’t have to scramble for my keys to unlock my door with all of my groceries in hand. I find this community to be safe and quiet which is why I didn’t see the need for my alarm system. My water bill has gone down by $5.00. The maintenance team fixes things on the same day except when large community projects are underway. I’ll say they still came to fix my garbage disposal and my kitchen light that was out within 3 days of me putting in my work order requests even though they were still working with the ADT personnel to install the systems. I love this place, it’s been my home for many years. I highly recommend living here.

I have lived in this community for almost 5 years and I just love it! Beth and Marlene are sweet, professional and are always kind! When ever I need something to be fixed or have questions they are always prompt and fast to take care of the issue. Sun and Carlos are the best maintenance worlet's I have ever met! They go out of their way to fix things right the first time! I live my home and this community!
