  • New Management Money Hungry

    I have lived at Eaton Place for 3 years now. New Management took over 03/2022. Since they’ve taken over, I’ve had packages stolen and my rent has been increased twice. After raising concerns about these items, I received notice that my lease will not be renewed. I have 60 days notice to move or I will be evicted. The new management is extremely rude and power hungry. I had planned to move after the second rate increase but they beat me to the punch. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. ...
    Steer clear if you are looking for a friendly environment. After speaking with other tenants and business owners in the building, I’m not the only one that they’re raising rent on and or kicking out. So many tenants are now moving out.

  • Do better for the $

    Moving to Wichita was supposed to be exciting coming out of college, however Eaton Place did not live up to expectations. I moved in in the middle of summer. Once I moved all of my stuff in, I noticed that the apartment was a little toasty. It wasn't until later that evening when the place still did not cool down that I realized that I had moved into an apartment that did not have a working A/C unit. I immediately notified the maintenance crew only for them to take over a week to solve the ...
    problem. Once the issue was fixed, I was spending a fortune for keep the place at a very moderate temperature nearly 80 degrees. That is because the windows are so poorly sealed, you can literally feel air running in from outside. I was willing to overlook some of these issues (there were more) because the rent was very reasonable for living in downtown. The complex has come under new management, and they are consistently raising rent by $100! If you are shopping downtown Wichita for an apartment, pay the extra money and go to any complex aside from this one.

  • Time is an Illusion

    The view and neighbors are pretty great. But it’s like time is meaningless here. Being notified something will be done that day really means tomorrow. “That week” really means “that month” and so on with the hope that the residents forget. Projects that were supposed to be completed to my apartment before move in (leaky ceiling, window replacement, etc) are nearly four months behind. More than once staff let me know only minutes before making entry to the apartment, and the door was then left ...
