August 14, 2023This place is a complete joke for the price. They will email things like: - put a towel under your door, water may come flowing in today while we are washing" - Don't worry about the leak coming from your kitchen ceiling, just go ahead and put a cup under it" - Oh by the way, you owe us $1,700"Property Manager Responded
August 22, 2023Thank you for the feedback. During our recent pressure washing we did notify all residents that it would be wise to put a towel at the door as it was possible that some water could come in during the professional, property wide pressure washing. It's unfortunate that you were affected. It is sometimes unavoidable. The leak was repaired promptly and afterward we did advise to place something to catch the water that was already in the walls that might continue to drip for a short period. We spoke in person about it and agreed that it was a reasonable solution for a minor leak.

Great Place!
January 14, 2020I have lived in my apartment for almost a year and it could not have been a better experience. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is in great condition and any issues that came up were dealt with quickly. The maintenance staff (especially the head), are very friendly and are extremely professional. I highly recommend this complex!Review from Apartments.com

Be Careful!
March 17, 2019I toured this property recently and was pleased with what I saw, the staff were friendly as well. However they were very misleading. I was interested in moving into this community so I paid the $150 application fee and waited for my new apartment to become available. After my application was approved I was then told that I had 7 days to sign my new lease. I had never viewed the apartment nor did I see a model of what I was going to get. I told management that I was uncomfortable with this and ...they essentially told me to “take it or leave it”. When I told them that I wanted my money refunded they refused! I even asked if I could wait until the unit became available before signing the lease, they told me no! If you are interested in the property just understand that you will be obligated to sign a lease on an apartment whether you have seen it or not. Management should have been honest about their policy before taking my money.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
WORST STAFF, NOT WORTH THE TROUBLES
June 11, 2018The staff are unprofessional. I was calling to get rates and availability status on a unit and whoever was working would pick the phone up, then hang up. I can hear them shuffling around then a click when they hang up. I tried calling back multiple times and the same thing kept happening. I even message the complex via email. I never heard anything back. This place is not worth the troubles.Review from Apartments.com
Great people
October 14, 2016I gave this apartment 5 stars because of the staff and customer service. It's hard to find apartment complexes with friendly staff so when I find one, it makes the entire experience better. My apartment was upgraded with nice finishings. I found it to be a great value with what they charged. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. They act as though they genuinely care about their residents which is hard to find. I would highly recommend Hyde Park.Review from Apartments.com
Good, Nothing Special
September 5, 2015Good reasonably priced. Very good location, close to shopping, highways and parks. The maintenance is kept up and the place is clean, trimmed and landscaped. They are in the process of renovating the apartments so new renters get new appliances and rebuilt restrooms. All apartments have a terrace, deck or what ever that is off the living room. You can get two chairs and a few plants on it. Most people don't use it, but most apartment complexes in the area have it. Parking is adequate. Air ...conditioning works. Never used the fireplace. The carpeting is nice, a light beige, could have been darker, but whatever, The security lighting in the complex could be better. It tends to be a bit dark at night especially since there a lot of trees. Residents are diverse. There is no common theme, students, retirees, all races, all ethnic groups, young, old. The place is generally quiet. Not many if any kids playing outside. Some have been here quite a while and some are new. You will always see moving trucks at the end of the month. Safe, no crime that I know of. They have a dog run and pet potties throughout the complex which is the norm for the area. You pay $20 to $40 extra a month for dogs. They have valet trash pickup which is also the norm for the area. $40 extra for that. Put your household trash outside your door Sunday through Thursday for pick up. You still have to dump the recycles yourself. The apartments are bug free. I think an exterminator comes once a month, the norm. Time Warner and ATT are the TV/Internet providers. They are overpriced and suck, but that is everywhere. Google is pulling cable in the area. There is a clubhouse, again the norm. Not much in it, chairs, the office, coffee, video rental, washer/dryer $1.50 a load and a small workout area with a few machines. There are monthly resident socials. There are washer/dryer hookups in the apartments if you have your own. Not sure if they rent them as well. Outside the clubhouse is the pool and the mailboxes. Mail gets here between two and five. All areas are well maintained. The staff is friendly and receptive. You can put in service requests on the internet or call. They text/email when you have a package. There is a barbecue area, never seen anyone use it. Overall, a good place to live, but nothing special. No real downside to living here. Hints; If you are not staying long, don't get a top floor apartment.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
