I have been a resident at Lago Paradiso at the Hammocks for 11 years and I totally enjoy the community!! I love this place
The lake, the green belt, and the pools views are wonderful and the convenience of having a gym open for 24hrs is a plus Since day 1 Elizabeth the Assistant Manager of the community and the rest of the staff has been polite and professional, as well as the maintenance staff, specially Francisco (Paco) all this people is like a Family. Such a great rental property! This community is always kept clean and has great amenities (gym, pool, lake side and even food trucks during the week)! The community is also very pet friendly. It is conveniently located across the street from a major shopping center where you can find a grocery store, a pharmacy, and get your car serviced. Great affordable accommodations in a high priced city.

Pros,
-- Easy access to the lake
-- service and maintenance employees are friendly and the request are resolved within a day TAT.
Cons:
-- Small kitchen with less storage space (my view no space)
-- Rent is more compared to neighboring community.
-- Limited home appliances compared to the rent collected (E.g. No microwave, Lights to hall, power outlets,etc)
--Annual rent increase will be huge.
-- Not secured entrance
-- Leasing office people are not friendly. (You may feel good before move-in ...
but after that you will not be treated well).
--Not spacious community.
Simple words, not worth for your money.

Please do not believe these reviews. I've been living at Lago Paradiso since 2018 and I love it! We have recommended tons of friends and family throughout the years! The office staff is amazing, they go out of their way to assist you! The maintenance team is great and attentive. Until I buy my house, Lago Paradiso will be my home!!

Started living here when it was called Broadwater Apartments, then the apartment complex was bought and its now called Lago Paradiso. I was so relieved that they kept the same leasing staff and some of the maintenance staff since they are all great. Sandra is the best! Love that we have a running/biking/ walking trail near by with a lake view. They have made great updates to the apartments and buildings. Some cons, if you live in the first floor prepare to hear your upstairs neighbors walking ...
around their Apartment, luckily, all the second floors have carpet. The parking is not reserved, is first come first served but I haven had any issue with that whatsoever and I’ve always found parking.

Just a bunch of crooks trying to take your money... I gave up on this place. If you are considering renting here please reconsider extremely overpriced some apartments are "renovated" but still have old washers and dryers and as a licensed contractor I can tell you the renovations are mediocre at best.

drugs in the in the bathrooms they don't care if you have anything broken or anything that's making you unhappy but they continue to raise the price and refused to change anything that isdamaged or unlivable I'm very unhappy ever since the new management and the owners have taken over I feel extremely miserable there not only rude some of them are very phony one of them rolls their eyes at you the other one is a big smile they refuse to do it.maintenance man that lives on ground which you really never see anyone here unless they're in the office sitting in the AC eating their cookies told me that were on a budget so they they won't put anything new and if they do replace something it's going to be with something really cheap that's going to break again they do not care about the health and well-being of people here because the carpeting is so old I'm literally sick everyday with allergies and I'm stuck.Nothing has changed as a matter of fact this apartment needs more maintenance now than it ever did because of their lack of competence pretty much all they care collecting it taking it away from you whether it's your deposit could be up to $3,000 and Kiss It Goodbye and the apartment cost is ridiculous for what they're offering there is no functional gym like they're saying it's always under work it still hasn't been opened All they did was paint the buildings and put one granite slab in the kitchen and for that I'm paying a lot more and so are the other tenants every neighbor I speak to hate it here and they feel trapped here with the money and with the poor maintenance

when you come in to view the apartments it all seems really nice but when you move in is when you start noticing things. I moved in while the apartments were in the process of being remodeled. they came in one day to redo the kitchen but all they did was change the cabinet doors and spray them white. on the inside the cupboards are falling apart and bending upwards because all the cupboard is is a piece of wood 1/4 inch thick and they didnt bother to replace it. at the bottom of the sink there is ...
a bunch of wood that was getting eaten up by humidity and they just sprayed it over with paint and expected us to act like they had done so much in the remodel. Not to mention that if you want anything done you better 1) have photo proof that the damage wasnt there when you first moved in, 2) be ready to call the office and put in the same maintenance request 3 times before anyone comes in and gets it fixed. I moved in 8 months ago and the apartment still needed some fixing from how the previous tenants left it and it still hasnt been fixed even though i mention it every time I call the office. the visitor parking is half of a regular parking spot so if you think there is 10 spots on your side of the building assume only 5 cars will park there because it is basically motorcycle parking. every time my friends or family come over they are scared their cars will get keyed because its impossible to stay within the lines. on top of everything we have already been told that they will raise rent when the lease ends all because they spray painted the counters white, its a joke. I write this as I look for other apartments for when my lease ends

I'm glad to have finally moved out of there! The place got worse and worse and the neighbors got noisier and noisier. It got to the point that I had to deal with hearing domestic disputes outside or my neighbors loud music on an everyday basis!!! Not a peaceful place to live!!

Broadwater formerly known as Lago Paradiso has been my home for many years although their have been some bad reviews I can say that no place is perfect. I wanted to mention that you will not find a place with such good and kind hearted staff, but you must remember that this is also a buisness and their are limitations to what the ladies can do . are all amazing . They go above and beyond for their residents , but keep in mind that being rude and disrespectful with anyone in life will not get you anywhere and they too have rules to follow as well. This is a community of all ages , but the landlords do not tolerate any drama especially disturbing the peace to include that we have security after hours and hammocks security patrolling as well. Some apartments have been upgraded ,but I belive their goal is to update them all with time . This community is more affordable than any place you will find nearby. Please be my guest and look! to include I love the fact that they have special family events for different holidays and so much more. They maintain the property and eventhough these buildings are not newly constructed they are working on many new changes to come. I would say that if their is something I like to see done it would be a playground for the kids, a carwash /vacuum area,different color for the building as well as the pavement changed and the pool area a little more modern such as a bbq area( if allowed by regulations of fire) a TV screen , but still its a great place. Parking is not an issue nor the lawn people for me it's an apartment complex however, if someone is being inconsiderate the issue is addressed . Overall this is a place to call home and where you can meet all different kinds of cultures living together in harmony , but we all are not perfect. Appliances are old and unreliable. Dishwasher doesn't actually clean anything. Washing machine makes clothes smell worse when they are done. Questioning the bug spraying service as being effective as I'm still seeing lots of bugs inside of my apartment, despite how clean I keep my place. If there are other options, my advice would be to keep looking
