Needs major renovations.

This apartment building is in need of major renovations. The rear entrance/exit floor stairs have carpet falling apart, and pieces of the rubber-corners have fallen off too. It's a major trip hazard, especially in an emergency. There is no entrance door buzzer, you have to manually let people into the apartment. The laundry room is extremely hot and not ventilated. The window sills in our apartment are YELLOW AND DIRTY. They have smoke damage from YEARS of accumulation. Yet, they weren't replaced ...
before we moved in (we were shown a DIFFERENT apartment at the showing) The windows are also stuck closed from all the dirt or smoke damage. The window screen also fell off our window. There are excess cables dangling outside our window, down from the roof, that hit our window daily.
Also, NONE of the apartments in this building have BLINDS. They simply have thin black curtains that probably aren't even new, instead of blinds. Therefore, they absorb a lot of heat and the apartment gets really hot. You get the idea, don't move here or rent from Lions Rock apartments. If you have to rent here, make sure they fix everything BEFORE you sign or else they won't do it at all. It's a really low quality, penny pinching immoral company. Remember, NO BLINDS ON THEIR WINDOWS.
