Current resident that has been living for over 3 years. This is place isn't just a house but a home, the community is wonderful and truly makes a neighborhood like no other. Management is exceptional, any inconveniences or issues have been dealt with in an orderly manner due to the wonderful manager. Would reccommend for anyone who is looking for a safe environment and location to live in.

My daughter lived here for two years until she moved out of the city. It was her first apartment, and we looked at a lot of properties before finding this one. It was by FAR the best we saw. The property manager Charles lives on-site. In two years my daughter only had one major maintenance issue and it was resolved very quickly. Within days all repairs were done. These are great apartments. Charles managed to get me approved and ready for move-in in a single day. After that is when you expect the attention to fall off, but not here. When you need assistance it is easy to get ahold of someone and Charles updates everyone via email when there are any emergencies such as water shutoffs for a leak or even someone's pet escaping (I have seen multiple situations where the apartment community managed to find someone's pet for them!). I moved in Tanglewood Place in January with my wife. We were not familiar with the area, so the manager Charles explained the advantages here and how we could navigate the freeways. They all interject here so its nice. He even took us around in his car and showed us where the grocery stores, major streets, good date night places, and fun things to do nearby. At first, I was wary because I thought it was too good to be true- A beautiful town home style apartment at a great price. Since I've moved in it has been nothing less than amazing. I love our manager Charles, he explained everything that would be included on our lease and kept in touch with us throughout the process. He moved us into the NICEST apartment, tile floors, all new appliances and lots of lighting. I put in a maintenance request and it was handled in less than 24 hours. Jose does the ...
maintenance and he is so nice and understanding, and very quick about fixing the problem. The neighbors here are super friendly and respectful of each other. I have medium/large size dogs and lots of my neighbors do too-its a relief as its hard to find other apartments that will take my Labrador.
I've lived in so many places in Houston, this is the one and only place I could ever call home. For the first time in years I get off work and I'm excited to get back to my community. I love Tanglewood Place and I'm sure you will too....the pool is always clean, the gym/game room is really nice, the grounds are clean, haven't seen a single rodent or any bugs since I've moved in. There are also lots of jobs and businesses in the area.

Mr. Charles the apartment manager is wonderful. From the first time I met him, he has been nothing but kind. The maintenance guy is fantastic. Along with one of the residents Mr. George, who watches out for everyone. My apartment is great. I had a delay moving in because Mr. Charles wanted me to have that Ahh factor when I walked in the door. When I first saw my apartment that's all I could say was Ahh!

I started living here and realized that these apartments seem to belong to a few drunk and loud residents who use the courtyard and make noise every single day; not on remote special occasions. No one else has the right to enjoy their evenings their way. The excuse is that as long as the noise is before 9 PM, but the noise is very often after hours. Charles, the apartment manager is one of a kind - rarely does anyone say that about their apartment managers. This place offers good value for the location, basic amenities, and great management; of course don't expect bells and whistles for this price range in this area of Houston. But what really sets this place apart from all of my previous rental properties is Charles, who knows every tenant by first name and takes his job very seriously. No complaints about this place at all!
