Renters Reviews and Ratings
No longer a great place to live
June 26, 2020I used to really love living here and then the complex was bought by a new management company. In fairness, the units are pretty, they're updating the building exteriors with new pain and new signage. The problem is that they replaced the tile roofs with shingle and now my one bedroom upstairs apartment that for the last two summers could easily be kept at 76 degrees during the hottest days, won't get cooler than 80 degrees from 4PM-10PM. The sweet maintenance staff checked the AC and it's ...blowing at 56 degrees from the ducts. What's changed? The roof. The management company's solution is to give me a paper hand out about the realities of what an AC can do in the summer - they could care less that it's 85 degrees in my apartment at dinner time or that I didn't have this problem before they cheaped out on the roof. Ruined our outing to the pool.
July 14, 2019Gathered up everything we needed to go out to the pool and cook breakfast. The chairs were strewn all over the place...the grill area was filthy as was the grill itself inside out. (a bucket with 2 gallons of old grease inside stunk) The worst was the grill was OUT of propane...or broken. I have cooked many times on this grill and know how to turn the gas on and off. I thought that someone was making a walk through each morning to check these things. And the spa has not worked in weeks. So our ...morning cookout was ruined. Renter Beware
May 1, 2019The complex is nice and the exterior of the buildings are well-kept. However, the interior of the apartments is something else. Unless you get an updated unit, they are in mediocre condition. The area around the water heater and AC was (and likely still is) nasty--full of dust and pet hair from previous tenants. The deposit is easy to leave, but very difficult to get back. The still owe me $400 and it has been two months since we left. I would take them to court, but why bother. It is ...easier just to tell the truth in public (like this) and let the shoe fall where it may. They are nice until you decide to leave and then they simply go into "nick-pick" mode. No consideration for the fact that you lived with mixed-matched tiles on your floor after asking them to resolve the issues 3 times. The costs for those living on the second floor are going to be pretty expensive seeing as the units are not well insulated. Get a ground floor, if possible. Don't expect much from the staff--like I said, they are nice and friendly until you decide to leave and then... The two stars removed are because of the staff and because they owe me money. September 24, 2015Apartment s vrry spacious and very nice neighbors. However the leasing office need to be update , too much miscommunication in providing information and coordination to move in. Ammenites ok , but gym needs to be update it. I like the tennis court and indoor racquet ball, always clean and maintenance comes when need it.Review from Apartments.com
