Pizza is a pretty commodity for Houston Apartment-ites. So the question of which pizza place to patronize is one that they all must ask. Barry's Pizza is a fantastic location to go if you want some delicious pizza in a cool environment, using all fresh ingredients and their own home made sauce and their own special cheese. If you're tired of all the usual blah pizza made from mass-produced toppings and cardboard crusts from a delivery place to your Houston apartment, Barry's is a breath of Fresh air. Every pizza Barry's makes gives you your choice of one of their delicious crusts, the Neopolitan, a thin, crispy crust, or Sicilian, a thick deep dish style crust, which can be made with your choice of regular or whole wheat dough. The crust is only the beginning, with all kinds of fresh ingredients being available. The usual toppings are there: pepperoni, ham, sausage, olives, mushrooms, anchovies, and the rest, but there are also some pleasant surprises, such as pepperocini peppers, artichoke hearts and jalapenos. If you're not sure what toppings to pick, there's a number of specialty pizzas to choose from, such as the Margherita pizza, with fresh basil, garlic, roma tomatoes, and olive oil, Heather's firehouse pizza, a tasty combination of meats, red peppers and roasted onions covered in asiago cheese, and Barry's special, covered with pepperoni, ham, sausage, mushroom, bell peppers and onion. If pizza's not your speed, there are plenty of other options for your dining needs. There are plenty of salads, such as an antipasto salad, a spinach salad, and two chicken salads to choose from, as well as a house and a caesar, as well as delicious subs with only the best meats, such as capicola and prosciuto. If you're in the mood for other real Italian food, Barry's delivers just what you're asking for. Lasagna, ravioli, fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti are all available, as well as Chicken Parmesan, so no matter what you're looking for, you're sure to find just what you need.
