SkyBar has been consistently voted one of the best nightlife spots in Miami, and it's easy to see why. Located inside the Miami Shore Club on Miami Beach, the bar boasts an impressive decor that's bound to inspire apartment-ites new to the area. Fountains, sheer curtains dark wood and a rich gold and red colour scheme drip with Moroccan-style opulence, but it's balanced nicely by the plethora of comfy cushions, mini couches and lounge chairs. The main bar areas themselves are cozy, but don't let that put you off; it's more about the friendly service, intimate setting and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel like you're back at your apartment (only it's been made over by an award-winning design team). Among its 4 separate floors, the main room is the aforementioned Redroom (which features a lacquered steel pool table), but in addition to this are the Redroom Garden, the poolside Rum Bar (with 75 different varieties of rum), and the Sandbar, which is exactly what it sounds like. Roam barefoot in an outdoor yet private, lantern-lit sandy area, or relax in a collection of electic armchairs and stools that you'll wish you could carry back to your apartment. Due to its overwhelming popularity, reservations are strongly recommended, although if you're staying at the Shore Club hotel it's easier to get in. Music has mostly a hip-hop theme in the Redroom, but a mix of rock, pop and dance in other areas, offering something for everyone who goes there to be seen, or to just have a good time.
