Write a ReviewAs part of the Chain of Lakes, Lake of the Isles provides an enjoyable reprieve to the busy lifestyle of people who live in Minneapolis apartments. The picturesque beauty of the park makes it appropriate for Lake of the Isles apartment dwellers to just throw down a blanket and have a picnic or read. It's not that athletic activities aren't encouraged for residents of Lake of the Isles apartments. Biking and walking/running paths, soccer fields for summer and fall and ice hockey rinks in winter are here at the park. Plenty of wide open space for tossing a ball or a Frisbee can be found here too. Lake of the Isles is quite popular with dogs as well, with an off-leash park for your pup to roam free from his Minneapolis apartment. A nicely sized fishing dock is special to the Lake of the Isles apartment fisherman, with decent fish such as bass and muskie to be found here. The other connecting lakes in the Chain of Lakes regional park are Cedar Lake, Brownie Lake, Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet, with all surrounded by 12 miles of paths for personal pursuit. While people who live in Lake of the Isles apartments are walking, running, rollerblading or biking the park, they can check out the lovely Peavy Fountain where they can toss in a coin and make a wish.
