I have lived at Alena since September 2022. I have to say this is one of the most frustrating places I have ever lived. I submitted a service request about the water temperature regulation in my bathroom in September. As on January 19th this issue still *has not* been fixed and I have problems regulating the water temperature in my shower. This is only one example of many. On top of that, they have absolutely no respect for your space or time. If there is an issue that needs to be repaired, they ...
will come to repair it whenever they want without *any* advance notice whatsoever. Example: one of their employees broke the light fixture in the living area. One day while I was in the middle of an important work call they popped up at my door to change the light fixture. I explained that it wasn't a good time (since I was in the middle of a work call) and they got mad and stormed off. When I asked if it is possible to receive advance notice about people coming to my apartment just to make sure I am not in the middle of a work call, they said no—workers can come to my apartment whenever they want and just repeated: "It's in your lease. It's in your lease. It's in your lease." If you want to be treated with a basic level of respect, if you want a functioning apartment, if you want your service requests to be handled in a reasonable amount of time, do not rent here.

Isabel was very great to work with when we went to inquire about an apartment. We thought our experience here was going to be great because of the amenities and the surrounding shops but we were wrong. The apartment we received was infested with roaches (the whole building has roaches a neighbor spoke to me about the same issue) the balcony door would not fully close and we had a leak coming from upstairs neighbor. We advised them of our issues and it took them MONTHS to finally have someone come ...
out and check the issues. It took many request and 3 different maintenance guys to fix a leak but the balcony door was never fixed and nothing was ever done about the roaches or neither did they offer to do something for us in regards to that. Parking is HORRIBLE !!! The property can be clean at times.. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The Alena apartments are not worth what they charge. Save your money and your family from this place and lease somewhere else.

It's one of many apartment complexes on this street, however it is very quiet. Most everything is with-in walking distance. The school district is one of the best around. Nice pool and fitness center.
