take forever to fix these leaks and often just put buckets under them, or boards over them and pull the carpet over the board. There are termites and other winged creatures that keep popping up. The hallways smell so bad from the leaking and the carpet getting molded over the apartments near the leaks smell. There is security....that does nothing except let people know when they have parked in his space. Most of the maintenance staff is clueless, except for one. The pool gets shut down often, only a couple of times has it been justified with the kids in the area being bad. But often the residents are threatened with the pool being shut down because the rope is not properly attached across the pool. The apartment complex will not fix the stripped screw hole that the rope goes into, and therefor the rope keeps coming out on it's own. This is blamed on the residents, as is the various leaks, cracks, and many other things breaking. Oh, and the high electric bills for the residents upstairs. Even though this is a common complaint for EVERY UPSTAIRS RESIDENT I talk to. We ALL must be running our AC too low or too much. The grounds are not terrible depending on which side you live on. The washers and dryers in the laundry mat are useless and often steal your money. The parking lots get painted over basically instead of refinished. This coat they put on it lasts for maybe a couple months. If they actually fixed things properly the first time, the right way, things would be better. But all they do is patch things so it works for a while.
