September 5, 2025Lots of hidden expenses!! But fast access to help if you have questions. Maintenance isn’t quick to help and they tend to wait until you get frustrated and impatient in order to act on your requests. September 5, 2025Unclean washer and dryer and machine bay upon arrival as well as key fob not working for a day. Still don’t have a working washing machine but over all the apartment works well for what I need it for and it’s not an issue as long as I am able to use my washer soon.Property Manager Responded

August 29, 2025It has been good! Clean apartment, nice amenities, and a lot of space. I gave one less star due to the fact I haven’t been told a lot about our apartment vs the last onr I lived in. August 12, 2025I’ve lived at Solhaus Apartments for a while, and overall my experience has been mixed. On the positive side, the rooms are a good size, and the layouts make the most of the space. It’s a comfortable place to live in that regard. However, the building doesn’t offer many amenities compared to other apartments in a similar price range, which can be disappointing if you’re looking for extra perks like a gym, lounge areas, or community spaces. Another concern is communication with the management ...office. While they are polite when you do reach them, responses can be slow, and follow-ups sometimes require multiple attempts. Maintenance issues also take longer than expected to be addressed. If you value quick, consistent communication and more amenities, this may not be the best fit. April 6, 2025Overall, I have been happy with my experience here and would love to stay if only rent were more affordable. The location near the U of M campus is wildly convenient, the building is well maintained and cleaned well regularly, and the staff is relatively receptive and considerate (although response time from higher-ups can be disappointingly long). My only criticisms would be that staff are often not in the office during designated hours, and my maintenance request fulfillment has fluctuated ...between being commendably fast and inconveniently slow. I am also frustrated by the gas billing policy: it is disappointing that it is not designated by unit consumption, but instead, we have to pay for others' use during the winter months even if we ourselves may not have used as much. That being said, this complex is an excellent place to live for renters who are not limited by cost and do not encounter incidents requiring considerable assistance from the management.Property Manager Responded

March 21, 2025After the first couple weeks living here I have noticed how the apartment looks to be very cheaply made. Last night the door opened without using my fob which raises safety concerns. One of the treadmills broke while using it. Overpriced.Review from Apartments.com
