This place is horrible! The front office people never answer the phone and when they do you get the worst possible customer service! The renovations are terrible I went to close my washer and dryer door and it simply fell off and broke my nail.. it was horrible! Also upon moving in it was the middle of summer we use our ac for one day and it goes!! I had to have maintenance in and out of my place for the first two months with nothing but problems!! I also had tried to get my internet set up ...
should be simple right? Noooo not here they had to have maintenance come in cause the whole wiring was all messed up to renovations they made with people who don't know what they're doing... Important plug outlets you would need and your paying for don't even work!! I have a 2 year old son and he opened some cabinets and they were full of nails!?! How is that safe for children... They even had someone come in and repaint walls that were all splotchy!! Worst experience of my life.. please take your money somewhere else!

I wish the living here was as luxurious as they make it sound. The finishings are aesthetically pleasing. But they are of low quality. The east gate constantly malfunctions. The jacuzzi/spa is a kiddy swimming pool at best. I do have a vouch for the roaches (they are outside) several trees are infested with them. The bathrooms are too small.
Here is the plus. It's in a great location! The public school nearby is great! The proximity to the grocery store is great! Other than that I would have ...

Whoever is rating these apartments, lie. At first glance, you might think the property is nice. I did based on this website. The renovation gives it a facelift, but it's cheap material on top of old structure. And the facelift weren't done by professionals. The wiring is mixed up. And if there were an emergency evacuation, many people would get hurt. Roaches travel throughout--and don't bother complaining. They will not answer your concerns. When I first arrived, I called them for an emergency ...
concern, they never answered at all, and I had to pay for my own vendor-twice. This place is for people used to living in apartments poorly managed. If you want nice, look elsewhere.

New management is renovating the whole complex. Over priced, our patio was broken into they havent done anything about it. Bugs are EVERYWHERE, inside and out and they dont do anything about it. No parking what so ever. People here are rude.

BEFORE I moved into my new apartment at Summerview, I read PLENTY of reviews online all across the internet. If there were ANY complaints about waiting around days for the maintenance guy to come or pest control issues, needless to say, I didn't sign any lease at those places.
When it came to Summerview, I saw helpful informative reviews about this place that helped me make a decision to move here. I hope I can be of some help for others with this review based on my experience at Summerview. ...
I've been here for almost 30 days.
Firstly, the ladies in the office are super helpful and sincere. Next, the maintenance guy, Marc... This guy is a real winner and stays on top of things. When you first sign a lease, within two days, you're supposed to fill out a "statement of conditions" form noting any maintenance issues you may find. I had some major issues and some minor issues that I reported. The major issues were fixed THE SAME DAY. Marc came over a couple of days later and said to me, "You know what? I'm not even going to look at this work order. What do you want me to do? I won't leave until you're happy with your new apartment home." Who does that!?
Marc works hard, he organizes workers to keep the grounds green and trimmed up. The trash bin areas are always kept clean. I have ZERO pest control issues. The area is quiet. There's plenty of guest parking...
I can't say enough good things about this place. Oh wait, yes I can! There's more...I leased a 2bd/2ba. apt. There's 3-tiered closets in BOTH rooms with built in shelving! Yay!
If you need to shop, there's Trader Joe's, Raley's, Costco, Save-Mart literally up the street. The mall? Up the street...several banks...I'm telling you...right up the street.
The fitness center and pool areas are both kept clean and up to date.
Summerview apartments really put their residents' needs first and foremost. I highly recommend anyone considering moving to Modesto, to check out Summerview.
