RUN FROM THE MILLS
May 4, 2022RUN FROM THE MILLS If i could give 0 stars I would. I have been renting apartments since I was 19. I am currently 26. This is the worst renting experience I have ever had, much worse than anything I ever saw in college. To start, this complex was referred to me by UMoveFree which allowed me to get a free move from one apartment to the next and so I took a chance with Trinity Mills. I signed a lease to move in 3/1/22 as the unit was advertised. Trinity Mills did not have my apartment ready to ...due a bug issues until the 3/4/22 (saw cockroaches still in the apartment my first day). Not only that but Trinity Mills also tried to deny me my free move telling me I was not referred to them by UMoveFree. Overall, they really tried to make moving more difficult than it already is. The moment I walk in the first thing I notice was how dirty and grimy this unit was. It had an odd oder and was caked in dirt. Next, I noticed the barricade for my sliding glass door was broke and my kitchen light doesn't hardly work. Then I start to notice the cockroaches in the kitchen closet (one of which was in my dogs food) and in the sink. I have since had to take it upon myself to exterminate them. I have lived here for two months and Trinity Mills has tried to over charge me for late rent twice. The first time they told me i didn't pay enough of my rent. This is because their renters portal misrepresented the amount I owed (this was resolved and i did not end up getting charged). Now my second month they are charging me a late fee because they did not post my rent amount due until 5/2/22 and said their portal will not post rent early and will post after the first, if the first is on a day of the weekend. They said it is on the renter to call the office on weekends that have a first of the month to figure out what your rent is. They are trying to set you up for failure as renter so they can steal the money you have to grind for. In the end I would say nothing can get worse than this complex. Decent place
July 22, 2013We have lived here for several years. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Maintenance always comes quickly and gets stuff fixed quickly when called. The individual apartments are a decent size and we have enjoyed living here.Review from Apartments.com
