Write a ReviewFor apartment-ites, finding a delicious meal in Denver is actually quite an easy task. The real trouble, however, is finding a delicious meal that is also affordable. Many times you'll find a place with fantastic food, but you'll leave with an empty wallet. Other times, the food may be cheap, but the food is nothing to write home about. One place giving you the perfect balance of flavor and affordability is Seven 30 South. This hip neighborhood bistro has been serving up the best priced American classics for quite some time now, and it's easy to see why crowds and critics alike have been singing their praises. If you're coming into 730, you have got to start you meal with their award-winning calamari strips. If that's not quite your cup of tea, you can also try their chicken strips, or their seven-thirty nachos, with four cheese, black beans, pico, guacamole, sour cream and red tortilla chips. You can also try one of their many delicious salad options, including the Southwestern Chicken Salad, the Oriental spiced salmon salad, or the blackened flank steak salad, or try their scrumptious french onion or tomato basil soups. After that, you can move on to their main dishes, with specials such as Tuscan beef stew, veal, chicken or eggplant Parmesan, shrimp and lobster enchiladas, or their veal schnitzel, or try one of their seafood plates, such as bacon-wrapped scallops, grilled Atlanta salmon, or, of course, a delicious fish and chips, made with their own home-made beer batter. For those looking for something a bit healthier, try their delicious grilled chicken paillard, with Kalamatta olive and sun-dried tomato tapenade, grilled asparagus and roasted potatoes, or Larry's penne, with grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, olive oil and garlic. On the flip side, those of you in the mood for a fresh juicy burger can step right up to their mushroom Swiss, BBQ bacon cheese, of 730 burger, with blue cheese, crispy fried onions and A1 steak sauce, all made with half a pound of fresh beef. If this isn't enough to get you going, they also have numerous steak, sandwich and pasta options for your perusal, and if you happen to be in the neighborhood, you can pop in for their delicious brunch menus on the weekends, for their delicious Eggs Benedict, voted best in Denver. You have a lot of dining options in the mile high city, but few are able to balance cost and flavor well. Seven 30 South gets it just right, and apartment residents will be lining up to get into this Denver hot spot night after night.
