I had an apartment like this one ten years ago in Haddonfield, NJ (10 years ago for one-third the price)... Basic third floor, three bed room apartment with old grey carpeted floors. Wood flooring in the living and kitchen. Walls are an off white throughout. A balcony exists that is beginning to rot. There is an old super-loud air conditioner in the wall that only works to cool the living room (only). There is a fairly decent one-car garage with a good amount of storage space forward of ...

where the car goes. The garage offers no electrical sockets or water... and has poor lighting. But a garage beats-the-heck out or nothing on a snowy day. There is a washer / dryer on the lowest floor. Expensive to use and work poorly. There is a front security door for our building that does not close all of the way on its own. I am grateful that crime is low here. An American flag flies by our front door and on all neighborhood buildings (kind of neat). This apartment is survivable, but nothing I'd want to paint or hang a picture on and call my own.
