Quaint garden hideaway!
July 22, 2015When I found this place on my first trip to Virginia, I knew I needed to look no further. Imagine a peaceful garden setting replete with Roses, Jasmine, Hydrangeas; a variety that would do any arboretum proud. Walk out of your apartment amid this setting, to the cliff and view the James River,and below, your own private beach! When you come home from work, take your wine to one of the picnic tables outside, and watch the sunset. My apartment is a one bedroom with hardwood floors and large ...windows, the bathroom is on-suite. the apartments have period charm and high ceilings; the buildings are only two stores tall so you feel as if your in a private house. All apartments have heat and air conditioning. The residents are all friendly and the complex is very pet friendly. If you like, join a group for our weekend barbecues. On the 4th of July watch our own spectacular fireworks display right on the James, after a cooling splash in our own pool. The management is friendly and provides wonderful service. So come to St. James Terrace, right here in Newport News on the James River. If you are military or a shipyard worker, well, we're right next door! You couldn't ask for more!
