This terrible soundproofing is due to the hard flooring upstairs. When I first moved in, everyone had carpets, so the soundproofing was acceptable. Grounds are clean and I’ve never had any serious pest issues in the 6 years I’ve been here other than the normal forest insects. Recent utilities/trash/pest/sewer billing has skyrocketed and is ever-fluctuating, so make sure to factor into your monthly budget an extra $100-$150 for those.
