All of the high-class, upscale bars in the Dallas-Fort Worth area can be a bit intimidating to an apartment-ite in Dallas, so sometimes its best to find a nice, casual sports bar where you just hang out and take down a dose of suds. Few places are better for that task than The Knox Street Pub and Grill, the perfect place for a meal, a drink, and pleasant conversation with down-to-earth people who won't look down on you just because you're wearing shorts. The main importance in any bart are the drinks, and The Knox Street Pub delivers here. Whether you like your beer morel local fair, such as Shiner, Rolling Rock or Sam Adams, or whether you're looking for something a bit more exotic, such as Hefeweisen, Pacificio or Harp, they've got you covered. They also have great drink specials during their happy hour, every day of the week from Monday through Friday from four to seven pm, including $2.25 Domestics, $3.25 premiums and $3.00 Wells. You can't call yourself a pub without plenty of delicious food. It's not just your typical burgers and sandwiches here, they also have a great variety of pizza options. You can get a specialty pizza, such as the traditional, the meat lovers, the supreme or the Mediterranean, or you can choose ingredients and make your own, featuring the normal toppings, or special items such as jalapenos, artichoke hearts or grilled chicken. There's also great burger and sandwich options if you're into that, including a wing sandwich, made with their delicious buffalo wings, a shrimp po-boy or a club sandwich. If you're having a drink, you should also try their delicious appetizers, such as stuffed jalapenos, hot wings, mozzarella sticks. No matter what your culinary needs are, The Knox Street Pun and Grill is prepared. If you're worried about being thought a fool at many of the high-scale establishments across town just because you're not wearing a suit, then take a trip down to The Knox Street Pub and Grill.
