The staff make all the difference
February 7, 2020We have really loved living here for the past year and a half! The maintenance staff is amazing- friendly, professional, and fast. The leasing staff are all really sweet people that genuinely care about the residents. They are quick to communicate with residents about important announcements, they host lots of resident appreciation events, and they are very helpful when it comes to solving problems. DO NOT RENT HERE - Worst Management in Highlands Ranch
October 31, 2019Do not rent from this complex. When I viewed the apartment that I would ultimately end up renting, the apartment was missing a cabinet in the kitchen. The associate showing me the apartment told me that it would be fixed before my move in but that did not occur. My apartment went without a completed kitchen for seven months. I repeatedly advised management and they did nothing. They would only blame others rather than taking responsibility and fixing the problem. When they did finally get it ...fixed, they entered my apartment without notification. They never offered anything in the way of compensation or even a basic apology. The level of incompetence from management is not acceptable for a "luxury" apartment complex". In addition, the apartment was in poor condition. The refrigerator was badly dented and scratched. the doors don't hang right so you get drafts, the windows are old and seals are broken, and the front door appeared to have been beaten with a baseball bat. Once they have you're money they don't care, you'll never hear from them. Make sure you run some hot water if you're considering moving here. My apartment stunk like decaying corpses when I ran the hot water, especially in the bathroom. Everything is cheap and poorly done. Get some earplugs when running the dishwasher or washing machine. The road noise along University and Wildcat is insane. If you're viewing an apartment, go during 5:00 rush hour, the cars might as well be driving through your living room. And don't forget about the Fire Station across the street. You'll be in the know of every emergency as it's happening.Property Manager Responded

Poor corporate policy toward renter
October 12, 2019Camden apartments are nice and the staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay there for 3 months until our apartment was flooded by rain. That is when I realized that I will not do business with Camden again. We ended up sleeping in our daughters room while the clean up took place. It took several weeks to clean up the apartment and nearly half of it was unusable (noise, fans, dust, covers, water damage, etc). We ended up moving out a month earlier than planned because we had people in our apartment ...several times without our prior consent and were paying full price for an apartment unit that became a construction zone. We were not given reasonable timeslots of when people would need access and they over stepped their usage of "required access". We became extremly uneasy about the entry process and the fact our door was being left open even though our dog was still in the unit. So long as things go fairly well you'll probably enjoy it there. As for us we will not do business with them again. We ended up paying thousands more than we should have with the events that unfolded. They fell short of doing their duty to the renter in this case.Property Manager Responded

June 13, 2019Unfortunately, we had an incredibly awful experience with Camden Highlands Ridge. They will nickel and dime you out of every ounce of money you have. Save your family and your bank account the heart ache of paying unnecessary fees/bills/costs for a very poorly run apartment complex. Renter beware!
October 25, 2017Not recommended! This is highly overpriced for the age of the complex. Look at other local communities that are newer and better managed. Make sure you know what you are getting into when you sign your lease. They will tell you at signing that you can get out with 60 days notice. Plan on it costing about $3k in addition to that. There is a large penalty and they will nickel and dime you out of your deposit. Visit at night. It is very dark and there is a lot of police activity. You will ...find that the criminal element who defecate in the pool and spray racist graffiti around the community live there with impunity, but if you dare to leave your car in front of your overpriced apartment after 6 pm, expect a $370 boot and your management staff to do exactly NOTHING to support you. 0 stars. In my personal experience, I would not recommend Camden Highlands Ridge to anyone
October 21, 2017We’ve had numerous problems in the past 16 months, starting with the leasing agent, manager all the way to corporate with no solution. We've had to endure constant loud noises, fights, loud parties, smoke and debris which gradually escalated to unbearable levels, as well as verbal threats from neighbors, yet all they did was to offer to charge us close to $2,000 just to move us across the complex. Parking is a joke, as there are very limited spaces, beware if you park in visitor parking areas, ...there's many times residents have had their vehicles keyed, broken into or hit by other drivers. Camden is very quick to issue warnings, tickets or give vehicles the boot, but yet they don’t make their employees/contractors follow the rules. I had to complain 6 times in 2 weeks about construction/work starting before their “enforced” quiet time for residents, who get fines for not following their rules, yet nothing happens to the subs. Mandatory valet trash service of $26 ,Technology fee of $94 a month for tv and internet, but don't expect a refund for no service. Do research and decide for yourself.Property Manager Responded

Going on 3 years...Great place to live!
July 22, 2017We have lived at Camden Highlands Ridge for over 3 years and recently renewed our lease and switched from a 2nd floor apartment to a first floor. Over the years we have seen many in the office and maintenance staff. The group we have now are AMAZING! The leasing consultants, Monika, Tiffany, and Teresa (x2) are friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond. The maintenance group is fast, friendly, and knows what they are doing! I could not have said this 3 years ago. Mike and Rob have been ...amazing! When Mike says he will come back the next day to check on something, he actually does it and with a smile every time, we love him! Not bad but not great
September 2, 2015Started out with high hopes but fizzeled after we moved in. First we had no locking porch door. It took several calls to get someone to finally come out and fix it. The pocket door for the bathroom sags and rather than fix the sag they just put washers in the door so it locks now but there's a gap between the door and the wall when it's closed of about a quarter of an inch. They had a small spa at one end of the property but a few weeks after we moved in the closed it permanently. The ...converted it into a "splash park" so now I hear screaming kids during the day right outside my apartment window. They painted the buildings this last year but they painted when it was very wet and rainy in the spring so the paint is pealing badly. Many of the aspens have been dead since we moved in. Parking was hard for several months but they recently began enforcing tenants must park cars in their garages so now it's much better. Having an attached 1st floor garage is nice. July 30, 2015Here is my view on the apartment complex. This company makes the rules as the days go. I pay a good portion of my rent to ammenities that have been closed due to construction for a good portion of time. The maintence team has been responsive. Any problem has been taken care of relatively quick. There is a 24 hr gym facility which us usually clean and well mauntained. Over all the place is nice but expensive.
