Write a ReviewNothing screams Denver quite as much as a nice, juicy steak, so if you're looking for some serious food outside your apartment, a steakhouse is really the smart choice for delicious food. With so many steakhouses in town, however, it can be hard to pick just the right one. For delicious steaks, as well as an upscale, yet masculine atmosphere, no place does it better than Brook's Steak House and Cellar, one of Denver's top spots for a big, juicy slab of well-cooked beef. If you're looking for something light to start you meal, try something from their appetizer menu, including oysters Rockefeller, seared ahi tuna, fried calamari, escargot, or cold and hot seafood platters for two. You can also try their homemade potato chips and onion. You should also see about trying their scrumptious French onion soup, or their salads of sliced beefsteak tomato, onions, and crumbled maytag bleu cheese, or vine-ripened tomato with fresh mozzarella, basil and olive oil. After starters, you can move on to the real reason you came here: the big, juicy, delicious steaks, cooked to perfection just like you want it. You can get your steak in just about any cut, from a filet mignon, to a New York strip, to a boneless rib-eye, to their gigantic porterhouse, or you can get their steaks as part of a surf and turf, your choice of petit filet mignon with small lobster tail, or filet mignon with jumbo lobster tail, or you could try their petit filet with king crab legs. Feel free to also try out their double-cut lamb rich chops, filet tips with a Marsala mushrooms sauce, or their mixed grill, with lamb chop, pork chop and steak Oscar. If you're not in the market for beef, there are plenty of seafood options for your culinary needs. Fish options include seared sesame ahi tuna steak, in a soy reduction sauce, broiled halibut, filet of soul or broiled salmon, or you can try some of their huge steamed crab legs, small or giant lobster tail, or their pan seared scallops. No matter what you're in the mood for, Brook's has something to please the pallet. Steakhouses are a dime a dozen in Denver, so why not go with the best? Brook's Steak House and Cellar has everything a meat-loving apartment-ites could want, combining great food with splendid ambiance to create one of the greatest dining experiences in town.
