Write a ReviewApartment living in Denver can be a fun and exciting experience, but as you live in your apartment, you must remember to inject some romance into the everyday grind. All the fun times in the world aren't enough if you don't have some one to love on your arm. So, where can a hip Denverite go to spend some special time with that special some one, while also enjoying some of the best food in town? There's no place to fit those criteria quite as well as 1515 Restaurant, with its vased flowers, its votive candles, and its white linen tablecloths in a upscale, but casual atmosphere. Once you step inside, you and that special someone will be completely blown away by the shear beauty of it all, and when the food hits your mouth, you're sure to be even more impressed. You can start one of the first course options, including wagyu beef carpaccio, with pickled shiitake, micro shiso, horseradish and nori wasabi, duck liver country pate, with mushrooms, confit, petit salad, grape tomatoes, and dijon vinaigrette, foie gras au torchon, pan-fried veal sweet breads with porcini risotto, Parmesan emulsion, and ramps, or asparagus and morels, with fried egg, asparagus salad and black truffles. You could also try something from their second course menu, including their cold caesar salad soap, with bacon foam, croutons, tomato concasses, and caesar dressing, young dandelion salad, with goat crouton, apple walnuts, and maple vinaigrette, or warm spinach salad with egg, oyster mushrooms, and bacon vinaigrette. When is comes time for your main course, you have many intriguing and delicious options. You could choose from their buffalo strip loin, with cheese gnocchi, pearl onions, English peas, and artichokes, seared monkfish, with foie de lotte, green curry, cous cous, mussels, and lemon grass, duck in three styles, with confit leg, spring roll, rendered breast, soba noodles, radishes, and plum sauce, or miso marinated salmon, with ginger miso cream, cucumber, lime, jicama, and purple thai rice. You could also try their sweat breads and veal cheeks with risotto, fiddle head ferns, fava beans, ramps, and a green garlic sauce, or their sou vide capon breast, served with asparagus, fava beans, oyster mushrooms, mustard knefla and pancetta. Just make sure you save room for some of their signature desserts, including their 'free form' chocolate creme brulee, rhubarb and almond tart, with maple syrup ice cream, and 3 cheesecake with goat, risotto, cream and lemon curd with blueberries. Romance is the most important part of any young persons life, so when you go out dining, make sure it's a special evening for your young lady.
